Wow. Nearly cried when you were fluffing this wig. It is the spitting image of my bio hair before it went away. Thick blonde hair, lots of baliage highlights. Even the cut is how I used to wear it. Wow. Really how I wanted Upstage to be. Even though hand tied, has great lift and volume. She's going on my wish list! Needed a wig for my 60th bday in June, think I've found it!! Untold Story reminds me of the ORIGINAL Upstage before they took out all the density and volume! It can clearly be as full, flippy or smooth as you want it to be, without going flat! I would definitely give it a go again!

Absolutely gorgeous! I love it. Typically, I've not been a fan of any "heat friendly" fibers. Maybe you can instruct me as how to get the lift and have it stay? Even though I use hairspray, in a short time the entire hair fibers droop. I love big hair and want it to stay that way. HA Thanks for the review. This is a really great wig. Thanks Taz!

Im in LOVE with this one! Its definitely got the Upstage vibe, but I feel that this is all its own for sure! It just looks s lush, full, swingy, sexy and glamorous, but in a way that doesn't look like you spent anytime getting that look! In fact the beauty of it, is that it didn't require it at all! When you open up that new Raquel wig, Im right there with you, everytime! The fibers are truly amazing! Well now I'm in dreamland. !o! Wow, this looks fabulous! I am a bit concerned about the fit as I am more petite than you and I saw you move those adjustors almost to the center. I might be better off with Upstage petite. Love that color though. I generally don't like rooted colors, but it looks like this one is more Gabor ish. More like a shadow than regrowth. This is glam hair for sure.

I love the look! How would this compare to the Noriko Claire? More hair for sure bu, I'm looking for something similar to the Claire in style, length. I need something that will hold up better! I'm hard on wigs - always on the go. I get tons of compliments on the Claire. I wear it in the nutmeg and would want something similar but I just love Raquel and always wore the Raquel Tress before switching to the Claire. Any suggestions would be terrific. Absolutely gorgeous on you and absolutely gorgeous video! This reminds me a lot of Upstage with a little less bend in it. It might be a tad longer, don’t ya think? I would love to see a comparison with this and upstage! How would you compare that color to shaded biscuit? It looks almost exactly the same to me except that the front has a heavier highlight and I know they do that with that color sometimes, but with Shaded Biscuit there are also some styles that have that heavy highlight in the front which I love! Absolutely beautiful. I have just ordered her in RL511, sugared charcoal, for my daughter’s upcoming wedding. I have never had a hand tied wig before. (I usually wear Noriko Reese!). I need lift on top. Can i backcomb a hand tied cap? Or would you recommend getting the lift with Wig Wax or another volumizer? I don’t want to damage her by doing the wrong thing to get the lift! Hope you love it! I use heat appliance to create lift.. but you can use product if you like. I avoid backcombing because it puts wear and tear on the fiber XOXO

Just received my Untold Story in RL16/21SS and WOW, is it ever DIFFERENT than your's, Taz! I AM SHOCKED at how dark it is. Hardly any of the platinumin anywhere. Really disappointing there is not better quality control. The "average" cap was also much tighter -- I could not wear my wig grip/headband with it (which was okay). Returning :(

Hello there! Sorry to hear that! I have not had any irritation from my wigs, so I am probably not a good one to ask. Just be sure the cap isn't too tight and that is secure on the head, maybe use some adhesives to stop it from causing friction on the parts that touch your skin? Good luck to you! XOXO

Thank you! I am not quite sure about the question.. I use a pocket sized wig brush. I turn the wig upside down and brush ONLY the 2-3" of root.. this helps keep the fibers from getting stringy (separated?). Here is a video you may like kzbin.info/www/bejne/pafQnXaur8eUr80 XOXO

So is the basic difference between Untold Story & Upstage, is just the length of the lace front? (Untold Story's is ear to ear vs Upstage is temple to temple?) I've ordered Untold Story but it's gonna be at least 2 months before the manufacturer is expecting more to ship to retailers, so I'm thinking it'll be at least 3 months or more before I see it. The helpful gal at WigStudios1 suggested Upstage because it's available now, in the color I like. However, I REALLY wanted that extended lace front. Lol. I received my Editor's Pick today and I'm fighting the ear tabs. They were bent up a little, I've bent them inward but the wig just doesn't sit flat on my temples. (Probably me being new to wearing a wig.) I also can't put my glasses on. My salon gal is experienced with wigs so I'm hoping she can help me in a few days. But oh my, I do love the softness of the fibers and the color is perfect! There's so much hair, like I use to have! I Just Love It!

Hello there! Both of these feature an "extended" lace front meaning the lace front runs half way through the ear tab (my personal favorite lace fronts are these types by Raquel Welch). Upstage is a stunning style! Best of luck to you! XOXO
