I had a 1970 442 w/455 back in the day and it ran pretty darn good. I embarrassed more than a few folks that didn't know my tank would run like that. The Oldsmobiles were smooth a silk and a little known fact as to why they were so smooth is that all Olds engines were balanced at the factory. Thanks for posting !

I agree completely. I was very close to buying a 1970 Buick GS 455 Convertible back in the late 90's for 8 grand. He had the original window sticker and everything. Passing on that car bothers me a bit to this day.

I owned the 72 442 Cutlass Supreme, W--30, Hurst Olds , it was Emerald Green with white Convertible top, and white interior. It had the 455 with a 6/80 lift cam, Hurst Clicker shifter. I paid $8,000 for it in the Spring of 73. Got married, had kids, and had to let er go.. She was so sweet....
