RARE 1986 WoW prototype - Teddy Ruxpin FM Radio Head- "Ruxpin Radio Head"

VERY RARE FM radio prototype manufactured by WoW that was going to be released for the 1986 Holiday season as a tie-in with the Teddy Ruxpin toys. I couldn't get it to fully function correctly, but this is the only one known to still exist to the best of my knowledge. Project was personally supervised by Ken Forsse and Thom Fountain, and even has Ken's signature under the box in pen! In back is the date "May15,1986 "and a small FM dial , so this may have been designed to be a radio?? Incredibly fascinating, nonetheless.
According to "Playthings" trade magazine, the " Ruxpin Radio Head Project "was eventually deemed "too scary for small children" and was scraped .
