I'm slightly disappointed that almost all Rare Beauty Reviews failed to mention the fact that these products are VEGAN, CRUELTY FREE, PARABEN FREE AND NON-COMEDOGENIC. It is beauty with care for its consumers.

I know people are mad that she released makeup because it seems like everyone is doing it but i can tell that she actually put love into this line and it isn’t a cash grab, especially with the mental health mission. In 2013, she mentioned wanting to do a makeup line so it’s not like it came out of nowhere. She had health issues so she couldn’t do it at the time but now that’s she’s ok, she wanted to do it. The price point is also really good, everything’s under $30 so the products are cheaper than a lot of the things at Sephora and I love that she didn’t use the fact that they are donating a percent of the proceeds an excuse to overprice everything. A lot of celebrity lines are really expensive but she kept accessibility in mind, especially with the fact that she made the packaging arthritis friendly by having the cap be sphere shaped so you can open it with your palms instead of your fingers. She has arthritis caused by lupus so she can’t really use her fingers to open things so I’m glad she decided to put that into her product. I ordered all the complexion products. I already have too many lip products but I’m excited to try it.

I bought and used the concealer this morning. It's now 8:20pm and it hasn't moved or creased. At all. I didn't use as much as you did though so maybe that's the difference? It's not considered a full coverage line, which as an, ahem, older person, I appreciate lol.

I feel like because you like more full coverage concealer, you used this concealer like it is full coverage. I think you used too much concealer and that is why it creased. I think the foundation and concealer are supposed to be used with a lighter hand as a second skin and not full glam.

Loony Lauren I agree. Also, the skin in the under eye area is very delicate. As a result, it can’t tolerate too much product in that area, or it will start to crease.

As a person with huge problems on the under eye area, I love coverage in concealers even when I use lightweight and sheer foundations. So I was curious to see how much product you need to have a decent coverage and if it creases too much. I look sick without concealer, so it’s useful. I honestly don’t apply concealer like she does: I prefer a color corrective color before foundation and to concentrate it on the gray cast area. But I still find useful to see if it’s gonna work on problematic areas like mine

I think every makeup sets differently on each person based on your skin. If you have oily skin I think it would just soak it up and she said she had dry skin so that could be why it creased?

I watched a video by a professional make up artist (he's gotten quite the following on here, but I've forgotten his name) and he said when influencers put that much concealer under their eyes, it's bound to cake and crease. It looks okay on video/pictures, but it'd be too much in person. Apparently people are only supposed to dab on a few dots and blend it out. He even said a lot of people don't even need concealer to begin with (they don't have dark under circles or anything that really needs concealing). Anyway! I think there's merit to what he says because I used to put that much and blend it like crazy, but no matter the concealer, it would always end up settling in my lines. I would do it like that because I'd always see influencers do it, so I thought that's how it was supposed to be done. No hate on this KZbinr though! Her make up is beautiful and she definitely does it better than me 😂

The color doesn’t look like it’s an issue at all. I think it’s a perfect shade for you. When you blended it down your neck you couldn’t even see where you were placing it because it’s the same color as your self tan

I always use cream contour on unset foundation, set with setting powder and then apply cream or liquid highlighter and blush over it. Usually it always works for me, ive used the fenty cream blush and many liquid and cream highlighters over set foundation. I've just personally found that setting cream or liquid blush and highlighter always took some of the pigment away and dulled it down so thats why I apply it the way I do. I haven't had any problems yet doing it that way

I got some of the foundation today and didn't know I was supposed to shake it! When I first opened it, some of the unmixed oil dripped out onto my jeans! I stain treated them and washed them soon after. So it is probably good to shake it, maybe a little?
