24:00 White Herb only removes the negative stat changes. Allthough from the text in game it looks like ALL stats were changed back, it only effects the Def. and Sp.Def. drops while retaining the increase in Atk. Sp.Atk. and Spe. Edit: Minior changes if you get it below 50% HP, so it only gets the 500 BST when falling below 50% HP. The idea with this set is to get hit once before using Shell Smash to get down to below 50% and then with your high speed and attack stats sweep. Unlucky Zacian is strong enough to just clean one-hit it.

@@15KMH yes you can. you shell smash, live on 1 hp because you are using your focus sash and then you can use the boosted acrobatics next turn because you have no item left after using the sash. but since that mon was slower even after the boost it wouldnt make a difference. other mons can still use that strat tho.

Focus Sash only gets used, if you would be defeated from full HP. Facing any waeker opponents, the item would most likely never be used, due to Miniors high base defenses. So in most cases it´s not working combined with acrobatics. Minior in his meteorform was slower, but in his attackform it goes from 60 base speed up to 120. Considering the +2 in speed and Zacian having a base speed of 138 it would definitely be faster.

White herb only restores your lowered stats to normal not your raised. The idea of that set was to shell up and then have your lowered stats back to normal and then get hit one time so you go into lowered shield form and swipe. The tactical failure was you done it against Zacian 🤣

Damn Chilln really threw the game towards the end there, he out sped and instead of killing he went for a stat boosted move even though the opposing pkm had low health and the rest of Quick's pkm had literary nothing that could severely beat it, a lot of no affect moves on his last 2 pkm but Chilln got greedy and paid the price for it GG to yet another fantastic video.

QuickGG got lucky to miss his first Play rough. If he didn't, shield down would have lifted (Minior would have gotten less bulky but faster), then shell smash and Minior might have swept.

Dark type crunch was Quad effective on calyrex shadow rider as dark is effective against calyrex physics and Ghost type and was destroyed completely by zacian.

Fyi chilln you can always look at the stat changes if you press y i beleive it will bring up the current pokemon on the feild and from there just check the stats by clicking on the pokemon your trying to figure out what its stats are hope that makes sense cheers

Challenge idea: Waterfall-coin or snakes&ladders challenge 1/ randomized box of pokemons (6 rows and 6 columns) 2/ for each rows, arrange them from weakest to strongest mons (based on stats - if tied you choose order) 3/ start on first square and call heads/tails on each flips 4/ flip a coin - move forward until you guess wrong (last right guess is your pokemon), then go to next row (-1) [So if you guessed wrong on 5th one for the 1st row, you will have to pick 4th one and start from 3rd pokemon on 2nd row.] 5/ repeat step 4 until you have a full team Bonus - extra spicy: 6th pokemon on 1st row is a legendary of your choosing, and last in the box is a little baba/baby (ignoring above rules).

Hey Guys If you're using lower tier pokemon like NU and RU, you might want to adjust the smogon movesets since they're made to counter threats within their own tier. White herb only removes negative stat changes, so no your buffs were intact, but the shields down ability makes minior tanky until half hp where it becomes a fast physical attacker. By using a focus sash you could guarantee that you live any one move and activate the ability. I love your videos ❤ and might come up with a challenge for you later

True but you do risk surviving the hit with more than one hp, not using up the sash means Acrobatics is at half damage. That wouldn't happen against banded Zacian, so you would be right in this case but it could happen against many other mons with that 100 base defense

Heyho, another challenge idea: Build-a-Pokemon Challenge you each catch the first 8 random overworld encounters (moves and ability randomized + maybe according to type, I guess it has to be Sword and Shield for random hidden encounters) you find & and fully evolve (not randomized) them. You choose if legendary is fine. Now you build 6 pokemon out of them in the following way as an example: Species from Pokemon Nr.4 One Move from Pokemon Nr.8 One Move from Pokemon Nr.7 One Move from Pokemon Nr.5 One Move from Pokemon Nr.1 Ability from Pokemon Nr.2 Each pokemon you create that way can only have one of the categories from any pokemon you catch (Not species and one move from Pokemon Nr.2 and not two moves from Nr.4). Of course you can't choose the same ability, attack or species two times for another pokemon you build, once used they can't be used for another one. (Fair game if you have the move/ability two or more times in your pool of pokemon of course. You can max ev and iv and choose nature as you wish. Would be cool to see your process and how you put the pokemons together and choose the moves as well. Afterwards hop on showdown & fight it out! (I guess showdown is the only possibility, but if you could build the pokemon ingame like this it would be of course cool as well.) Would be fun to see if you put all your power in one pokemon or you build a balanced team. Second challenge would be Build-a-Pokemon for your Buddy challenge, where you do the exact same but building a team for your opponent with an additional rule that you need to give each pokemon you build at least 2 functional attacking moves even if it is just tackle (no 'burn up' for a water type). If there are not enough attacking moves in the pool of 8 pokemon, catch additional ones until you have enough (only for moves, not ability species). Sorry for long text.

You guys should do this challenge again but you should allow Terastallizing. Seems like you keep whatever Tera type the Pokémon had when it was originally caught. This way even though the Pokémon evolve randomly, you can choose the initial Pokémon based on a Tera type you might want to use in the match. Another great video by the way, thanks for more Scarlet and Violet, I like seeing the different Pokémon

Hey, I have a then we fight idea. It's similar to catching mons to spell a word that you're given. However, you have to spell any 6 letter word you can think of by choosing your starters. You're given just the first letter of each starter, as your choosing your starters, you're trying to spell any word you can. If you are given letters you can't use, you have to skip and your opponent is given the chance to picker a starter in order to spell their word. First person to spell a word gets a neat little bonus like choosing any ability for one of their pokemon or something. And then you battle. For example, you're given the letters C - L - B, you choose C. The. Your next lot of Starters Are A - B - C, you can't really use B or C to spell a word beginning with C, so you choose A. You keep going, and your letters so far are C-A-R-R, but then you get to starters that are Q-X-R you can't use those, so your opponent gets the chance to take a pokemon, and they get an advantage cause they know what the pokemon are, but they can also choose to skip if they can't use a letter. You keep going till you have your word/team.

Challenge Pitch: Same basic idea with the Rare Candies evolving every level, but the twist is at the beginning of the challenge you choose how many rare candies you want to have and you have to use all of them by the end.

Another challenge idea: we build teams together - THEN WE FIGHT! (Use any game you like, randomized moves and abilities) -you each have 3 turns, you alternate choosing what you both search for on the team (legend/starter/fully evolved,baby juniors, personal faves/ etc.) Catch the first ones you find that meet that req., until you both have a full team of 6. -whatever you choose, both players have to find one in the overworld and catch it. -No skips, no evolving, no regional gimmick. -no dupes but you can pick the same category as often as you please. Even if y'all build symmetrical teams, you can still find a way to get the advantage over each other. Will you aim for a stacked team knowing your opponent gets to do the same? Or are we gonna see some brig-baning to try and get that competitive edge and the W? 🏆
