I see you've been venturing out, cool stuff man! Water spout and a SNOOK all in one trip! I'd say it was worth the drive... I remember seeing a tourist out there years ago catch a nice snook on dead shrimp.. He didn't even know what he had or how special it was 😂

Yeah man we only had about 2 hours to fish and all that happened lol. That was my first snook. Wish I lived closer to that area! Thanks for watching and commenting big dog!

Surfside jetty in Freeport...just type it into Google. I was probably 45 yards from the very end.

You keep Snook in Texas they have to be 24 inches and bag limit only 1,I fish the jetty for 30 years now and caught 5 and only 1 was a keeper at 25 inches

Oh wow, that's crazy. I figured it was a pretty rare catch even for Surfside. I know they catch them further south sometimes but never really heard of any keepers. Thanks for watching and commenting!
