Always loved seeing photos of his creations; it was all about the fit, the luxury of beautiful fabrics and wonderful embellishments. You can see the history in some of the pieces and what is so wonderful are the jackets -- you could buy a jacket and put it over a simple white or black dress and look great. He truly celebrated the female form and I so miss seeing such wonderful creations these days. He really was the right man in the right place.

Ahh, but that's the genius -- he had the freedom to create beautiful clothes and some of them were very relevant to the modern woman. Any time clothes fit well and enhance a woman's presence, they are relevant.

@@CKLee-rs4kl Not that much freedom to create when you are out of business and your creditors seize the chairs in your couture salon and sell them at auction in order to repay your debts. He is one of the greatest designers ever but his clothes had no relevance to the women of today.
