Being a Bengali like both the legends, I'd like to add a few informations. Post the bengali film 'Proxy', & the 1978 song, Hemant Kumar & Kishore Kumar worked together for twice. In 1980, an EP Record got released which had four non-film bengali modern songs sung by Kishore Kumar, composed by Hemant Kumar whose actual name, needless to say, is Hemanta Mukhopadhyay. The songs were 'Aamar Pujar Phool', 'Keno Re Tui Chorli Ore', 'Se Jeno Aamar Pashe' & 'Chokher Jawler Hoyna Kono Rong'. In the very next year, i.e. in 1981, the first Rabindra Sangeet LP Record of Kishore Kumar, having Twelve Rabindra Sangeet, was released, which was under the direction of Hemant Kumar as well. Both the Albums are very popular even till date.

As mentioned in one of the comments, Hemant Kumar did playback for Kishore Kumar in Dustu Projapati where Hemant Kumar gave his voice to Kishore Kumar in 2 songs. Also, one film is missing from the list which is the Bengali film Moddho Rater Tara released in 1961. Kishore Kumar was the lead actor in the film and sang in Hemant Kumar's composition.

Just to add on to my last comment. Kishore Kumar first sang in Bengali film Samar released on 1950 and not Lukochuri. Also, Hemant Kumar did not pick Kishore Kumar for Lukochuri but it was just the other way. Kishore Kumar was the producer of Lukochuri and he selected Hemant Kumar as the music director of the film.

Let me share a very interesting fact. In the Bengali film Dustu Prajapati (The Naughty Butterfly) Kishore Kumar sank his lips for Hemant Kumar i.e. Hemant Kumar did the playback for Kishore Kumar as an actor. This was for one song only.

Excellent presentation. But would like to correct something told here. Hemant kumar did not give break to Kishore Kumar in Bengali movies. Kishore sang his first Bengali song in the film 'Samar' under the music direction of S.D. Burman in the year 1950.
