I heard of loaches before but like a lot or fish I didn't really know anything about them. But they are very personable and quite cute. It upsets me that people manly eat them.

You should try get a barramundi for the eel pit. They’re really cool and massive fish endemic to Australia. Slow growers though.

I Have a Question Is the water you have in the eel pit salty or freshwater. If it is freshwater are the crabs like freshwater crabs?

It's freshwater, blue crabs are a brackish-water species that tolerates freshwater well, although they won't breed in it.
