Pretty sure those plants are cheaper in any other city. It is disgusting how expensive they are, those ZZ raven plants are 10x more expensive than Europe imports and 3x more than Amazon.

@@patpat446 Thankfully I live in Europe.. especially a region where everyone's hobby's gardening and most hardware stores have a BIG plant section. And let me tell you, a lot of the plants are roughly around 1,80 USD. Those same plants online are usually smaller and cost 5 USD (shipping not included). So I guess I'm even more gratefull!

I love Mickey’s! I find that their collector plant prices are pretty steep still (despite the rapid declining prices most places elsewhere), but their more common plants, Hoyas, and succulents are v reasonably priced 😊 always a fun trip

This was a good video only because it is nice to see what some of the trending plants are selling for in different parts of the country. Most of the plants that I collect were mentioned in this video, some I found for much less and others are way out of my price range and that is why I don't have them YET. that scindapsus treubii I just bought from lowes for 19 dollars and it was in a nice white ceramic pot. it was 3 times bigger than the one you said costs 49 dollars . why are some plants so expensive when they are sooooooo easy to propagate and make multiple of.?

@@ErikaLodes It was hard to find the Paradoxa, so if they're not too expensive, might be worthwhile. I ordered on Etsy a 6 variety Rhipsalis combo, all cuttings and they came out to $60 including shipping. Currently seeing if they will root...Fingers crossed. Love your tours!

I live in Denmark. Here you can get a philodendron pink princess for 77 dollars and they are the same sizes, as the one in the video. If you want smaller ones they cost around 38 dollars. 🌿

Hey after seeing this video, i went to this same shop and bought the Whale fin that you showed, with the double fin. They sold it to me for $45 🥰. and i got a Pillonia Pulcha that i wanted...i kept seeing them at Armstrongs but the same exact small pot at Armstrongs costs $20🙄...and finally i got the Monstera Silepecana that i wanted there. I was hoping they had had a Alocasia Melo but they only had the Maharani that looks similar but i dont like

I like going there, I always get the smaller, starter size plants $4-8.. It's the only place I've purchased plants. Great cactus selection too. Haven't been there in awhile. Fun to chat with Mickey when he's not too busy. Oh good you did get a plant.

I just went here actually. Great plants, healthy, and great choices… scary high prices tho! 😆 at least, for what the plants were. The same plants can be found elsewhere for far cheaper, sometimes 50-75% I’ve noticed. I honestly felt like such a broke-ass bum when I was there! Jk. It’s not as bad as some places like… Armstrong! Lol, and at least it’s supporting local businesses. It’s all about where we put our money. ♥ But, if I hadn’t seen your video, I’m sure I wouldn’t know this place even existed!

Yikes their prices are too ridiculous. I got my variagated albo syngonium Steve’s leaves and the brandy for WAY less and it was in great condition!
