My brother Joey is the one asking for Selena’s autograph before this interview. He sent this video to me this past August and had very fond memories of this night and of meeting Selena. He was 15 in this video. My dear brother passed away just a month after sending it to me, in September 2021, a few weeks before his 42nd birthday, and I miss him every day. Whenever I come across this video, I just have to stop and watch it a few times. Thank you for posting it.

Life can be so cruel. A saw a man get stabbed in the heart and bleed to death on the floor a week before he was due to return home to the Philippines after not seeing his wife and kids for 25 years. He had fled a cargo ship when it docked in NYC where he was paid very little and had barely nothing left to send back home. He worked multiple jobs and sent everything back home and put his kids through college and purchased a home for them, while he made do with only the bare necessities. His family received his remains weeks later and buried him without ever having the chance to be united. I knew this man and this shit just causes me to cry every time I think about it. Why was he stabbed? Over a misunderstanding by a drunk who thought he had done something he did not do which was cleared up later.

Wow, that's so tragic, that poor family and I'm sure he was probably going to continue to be the breadwinnre when he returned home. So sorry to hear. I recall this Pakistanian store owner I used to do business as a customer in his store. He was shot by a group of teenagers that tried to rob his store. He died. He had a family and was going to college to attain a license. I couldn't stop crying. A friend of mine with three small kids was stabbed to death by teenagers a while ago. Makes you want to scream doesn't it? Poor SELENA and all her dreams were taken by a jealous obsessive person. In life there are no guarantees.

You know the outfit she is wearing is what she is buried in which is so errie here is Selena alive and well after the 1995 Tejano Music Awards signing autographs and smiling and then she died on March 31 1995. Selena was also in a movie with Johnny Depp Don Juan De Marco and she was the singer in the background. She could have been an actress if she wanted to and a singer. She alot going for her until she was shot down by the president of her fan club. Selena would have been in her 40s now. She has the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. RIP Selena.

I got a very weird feeling watching this video because Selena is wearing the same outfit she was buried in. It is difficult to comprehend how the same woman who is alive and well here in this video would be laying lifeless in a casket a short time later. How can anyone not believe that every human has a soul? Or not believe that our soul leaves the body when we die? I am not trying to start a religious debate. I am just sharing something that came to mind. I think we should all consider what happens when our time is up. Selena never expected to be shot to death at 23. Nobody expects to die at that age, but it happens. I believe in God and that the only way to heaven is through Jesus. That is my belief, and I probably will receive some hateful replies for saying so, but there are some people who just believe when our bodies die that is it. Poof! No afterlife. I cannot accept that, I just can't.
