Those quill pens catch and flick droplets or drip easily. What incredibly good skills he must have to prevent that from happening.

The modern Torah's line up with those texts in the dead sea scrolls. That's pretty damned impressive.

I barely feel confident rolling one of my synagogue Torah Scrolls to the reading for the week and reciting the words from it to my congregation. Don’t feel I would ever be capable of doing actual repair work on them. It’s the reason why I’m always so careful handling these Scrolls.

Interesting how the approaches of your respect for the Torah are direct opposites of each other

I thought a person shouldn't touch a scroll with their fingers because the oils can damage the scroll over time?

23 Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, 2 saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3 Therefore whatever they tell you [a]to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. 4 For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments. 6 They love the [b]best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, 7 greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’ 8 But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your [c]Teacher, [d]the Christ, and you are all brethren. 9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. 11 But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whoever exalts himself will be [e]humbled, and he who humbles himself will be [f]exalted. (MATTHEW 23:1-12) Notice in the video at 1:06 how the 'scribe' said he is in Gods' profession and said "A little respect there" making himself be of great importance.

Jesus has nothing to do with it! Where is he in the Torah? Paganism sun God lies!

I would think, something this important, should be handled by more than the word of one man.

@Tim Beeker With artifacts of religious history, There should be at least 10 people, with no affiliation to each otherverifying this. Putting your trust in one person who you don't even know personally, you might as well go join a cult.

@@dulynoted2427 we’re not relying on just one man. We have many copies in our possession that we know are accurate without error that can be used to check the others. You clearly have no idea what a cult is. Judaism is far from a cult.

@@christo-chaney I happen to know the bible was a fill in the blanks by Jewish priests. I wouldn't even trust a handful of individuals let alone one man. Go pound sand.

@@dulynoted2427 The Jewish Bible has not been a fill in the blanks project by Jewish priests. What evidence do you have for that assertion? We're not relying on just one man to preserve our Torah Scrolls. Almost every Jew I know has a Hebrew Tanakh in their home.

Man may be copying it and repairing the worn scrolls, but that’s not proof that it’s mans words. So your God didn’t give you any written instructions to consult?
