Desi cow is different from other cows.. Desi cow has a "Surya Nadi". Desi cows have Suryaketu Nadi (vein) running through their humps which absorbs all the cosmic energies. Hence the milk of Desi cow is better than other cows.

According to the Brahmanda Purana, the Shiva lingam was originally egg-shaped, representing the universe. It is called Brahmanda, the cosmic egg (Brahman is Sanskrit for 'cosmos' or 'expansion' and anda means 'egg'). And Shiva Damru is a representation of the southern Crab Nebula and the ever expanding universe. The mid portion of the damru represents the "Point of Singularity".

Shivlinga is always egg-shaped (eliptical), the lower part of shiva linga is covered by "yoni," and that's why we can't see it.

Shiva lingam means symbol which is another way to represent God Shiva and Shiva lingam doesn't represent any body part that's the misconceptions around internet
@yours2source

The phallic symbol is worshipped and depicted in momuments by ancient societies all over the world. It would be strange to me if the ancient vedics/hindus didn't.

No in tantra shastra shiva him self said that it is lingam and yoni because we Indian were that mature that we worshipped the linga in holy sense after that some British people called it symbol look at khajurao and other in south old shiv lingams are 100% identical to male body part

Shivling is actually a representation of the medulla oblongata in the human body, you can find out more on this. It's not really a phallic symbol as popularly believed.

Well, that must have been a unique experience for you! That was a private puja.... You can also do puja at a Temple, along with all the public. If you pay a fee and buy puja material (flowers, coconut, food & other items) and give the temple priest (pujari) the puja materials, he will do puja on your behalf and give you back the materials. This is what most people do. It is quick and easy. I'd personally recommend performing puja at a Temple if you want to perform pujas. Important thing is you must have fun, enjoy and feel "connected" when you lovingly and devotedly offer flowers, water, milk or food to the Divine and seek his blessings. You actually make the offerings to the idol of the Divine but it is believed that the you can connect to the Divine through the idol.

Lovely to see your journey and how things are aligning… I read some comments about being very careful with money and being cheated. While all that is true, it’s also good to give what you feel is a fair offer or speak about it before. Most of these guys aren’t rich and a bit of money if you can give extra will go a long way. I look at it this way, think how much a simple 1hr guide will charge in Amsterdam (for such 1 to 1 personalised service) and then decide what you can offer plus what’s the rate in that area in India… even if they say no it’s good to give specially if you felt something good within…
