22 year old here (from New Jersey, funnily enough...) I discovered this compilation my first year of college and I've been in love with it ever since. I didn't grow up with this kind of music, nor do I have any frame of reference for the Northern Soul scene in the UK, but I appreciate these songs all the same. Over the years they've soundtracked my study sessions, bus rides, and generally all aspects of my college life. Since I've graduated now I think I owe some thanks to the video that got me thru it all. Much gratitude from the States!

Wot goes round comes around as youth 70's this gave me a view of surving a sad background in industrial u.k. but also gave ne reason ,still here still listening, think if i was unconcious play bit northern my feet couldnt help but twitch 65 years old but not just music its reason a way of life . My kids 20's love it also have broad music affinity, but i always come back to this. Ktf a way of life

I was 60 years young and I am still enjoying my nights out on the scene dancing the night away in the Manchester area UK . Currently on the 2nd Trac of this compilation which are quite poppy blue eyed soul but delightful all the same cant wait for the rest if the comp x Keep loving this music and it will be with you forever x

I heard of Northern Soul but it was confusing because I thought it was referring to New Jersey and Philadelphia/USA area in the 60s. I just watched the docu and it answered a lot of questions for me. I've always loved obscure 60s music so I wish I knew of this movement MUCH earlier!
