ᴴᴰ Rare NYC Subway Announcements - Jay St MetroTech Station Announcement Comparison

A comprehensive look into the automated Subway Announcements used at the Jay St - MetroTech Station in Brooklyn.
The Jay Street MetroTech Station is made up of a lower level (Lawrence Street Station) and Upper Level (Jay St - Borough Hall Station) . The reconstruction of the 2 stations was completed in 2010 and makes up todays Jay St MetroTech Station.
Here are the Automated subway announcements for all the various trains that can run through the station that ive collected over the past 10+ Years. These include announcements before and after the reconstruction. The announcements were recorded from R160 and R179 Train types.

I still like to post it regardless of how many views or likes I get. It's pretty cool that we get to document this stuff as it happenes, because even now, a lot of the programs are gone and theres always gonna be people that will be intrested in seeing how things were when the 160s were around. I'm sure that by the time the 211s or whatever the next model is, they will revamp most of these so it's just nice to have them documented. At least that's how I look at it.

@@MrRailfan You are a wise person for saying that. I have seen people come and go in the community for close to two decades now. Documenting things is a must. Believe me on that. The original Late Night transfer for the (N) at Jay Street-MetroTech was an error since it announced the (N) line at said stop. It was finally corrected during the SAS Updates to the one heard in this video. I do have an upcoming project that nobody is aware of.

You spelled a lot of things wrong. The orange M used to be the brown M known as mainly the Nassau Street M line, going to Brooklyn after Broad Street and going via the D (4th Avenue/West End). It changed to the current orange M train in 2010.

It is normally served by the A, C, F and R. Late nights, the N runs instead of the R. The Q can run via Whitehall Street/Financial District Local/Montague Street Tunnel as well.
