So fun to watch. Love old school soul and seeing the different record labels on 45s. Thanks for taking us along.

I was just given 3 boxes of vintage records. Several unsleeved 45s. A few have matching sleeves and labels.

The temptations record is a 1960 doo wop record. The hit side was barbara and it was popular in n.y.c.

Id love to go hunting for northern soul 45s over there. If you can try and get hold of Manship's USA guide to rare soul 45s. The price guide bible for those searching for soul

some of the early tamla releases did come in those generic brown sleeves, or the soul label came in those rougher mauve thicker sleeves. always be careful when re sleeving that you don't throw the original just because it is plain.

@@bbrexuk yes, sleeves a whole different level knowledge to be gleaned for sure. The Motown Museum has a superb display showing early releases w and w/o their sleeves. I hope the y expand it w the museum in ‘25 and of course Third Man Record’s reissues are a nice starting point for beginners too. Thanks for the info 👍🏻🎶✌️😎
