Hello Carmen, FOMO is so dangerous. 😅I fell victim to blind buying last month too. Fortunately I didn't dislike any of my purchases. They may not have been things I would have rushed to get had I not been worried about missing out though. Thanks for sharing your haul and thoughts about the perfumes you bought. I find it so interesting how there is such diversity in scent preferences for different people and how our noses and tasted can change in time. True loves are the ones we tend to reach for the most. My daughter has been raving about Si Fiore...and...I wore the same fragrance from 1981 until now...and although it's been long discontinued, I still have a very small stash. However...live and learn. I now have about 90 fragrances in my collection...since November 2023. A few--like Si Fiore--are discontinued, but I'm building a backup stash of those that I LOVE before they go "extinct".

My first impressions are often unchanged. But they have changed enough times (for better and worse) that I know to reserve my full judgement until I have given a fragrance a full wear. I too always reserve the right to change my mind about a fragrance.

Your honesty is refreshing. I like hearing why people dislike certain fragrances. Even when they are ones I love. You don’t just hold it up and yell “trash!!” and toss I aside. Though that would be entertaining it’s not very helpful. You saying you don’t like the Jasmine in the Classique because it is similar to the one in Alien May help someone avoid blind buying it because they too dislike that Jasmine (or encourage them to buy it because they love that jamsmine). I do agree that Classique Essence is a cousin to Alien, so Alien non-fans should beware.

The jasmine is way more toned down BUT it's the same type of jasmine. It's Similar to Alien Essense Absolu but less jasmine. I will probably do a comparison video before letting it go to a couple similar ones.

I love Gemma di Paradiso and have 2 back-up bottles of it. I got a super long-winded compliment by a bartender at a wedding I attended about how gorgeous my fragrance was. I have all in that line except the blue one.

I love si fiori I have a back up bottle since it's been discontinued. Valentina pink is nice also to my nose.❤️ I would wait and give it a chance in spring and summer you'll get a sweeter vibe.

I just got Si fiori two days ago.. I hope I like it.. Still at the trying state to see if il like it.. If I like it, il try find a back up... Burberry her, the entire line doesn't work for me.. Gives me body mist vibes because the scent goes after an hour.. I wish her OG lasted, so I won't care for her intense.. Isn't it interesting how we view fragrances differently?

@@CarmenScentrix never smelt Br540 before.. I've heard people raving online about Burberry her OG, intense, cloud and Br540 being similar.. I only own the OG Burberry Perfume is so expensive 😢, in my head I wish I had all of them..

Burberry Her is a similar BR540 vibe but with a very artificial strawberry. A lot of people cannot smell the BR540 dna though so they only get the artificial strawberry.

That Classique has been in my list since 2020… that’s a TOTGA scent for me.. i don’t even know how it smells like 😂 Burberry Her intense is discontinued? What a short lived life it had ! 😳 That Valentino bottle is so beautiful! One from that line i want to find is Myrrh Assoluto 😍

If you love Alien and you can get on with a bit of aldehydes you would LOVE Classique Essense. Not that it smells like Alien but it has the similar jasmine. It has vibes of Alien Essense Absolu but with toned down jasmine and similar base to Roberto Cavalli with the orange blossom. It's creamy and well blended. If I liked that jasmine I would love it.

Lol, one of my best friends is a very glamorous girly girl but walks around smelling like a vanilla wood bench. Her go to currently is that Nirvana Bourbon. Me, I'm much less glamorous and much less girly but I like to smell very girly, fruity and floral. I think maybe we all subconsciously balance ourselves to back to neutral.

I had a small decant (those 8 oz ones) of Classique and it was not for me at all. I have a half ounce bottle of Si fiori after finishing the decant I had. I don’t need a big bottle (at least I’m trying to tell myself that) because it’s not a love but a like.

I love Gemma di Paradiso. It's so long lasting and delicious. It lasts for more than 13 hours on me. Better than Good Girl which some people say it smells like. It was so popular a few years ago and then suddenly I can't find it anywhere. I've been told it's discontinued much to my chagrin. I'm holding on for dear life to the last drops in my bottle.

You are making me second guess myself with Nirvana Bourbon. I only got a sample of that one but it was such a harsh smelling oak scent. I didn't pick up on any rich sweetness at all. I have Mercedes Benz Club Black and love that one. Hmmm....might have to revisit this one. I have also tried a sample of Nirvana French Grey but wasn't overly impressed. I think it's just me. LOL

I blind bought classique essence de parfum because I love lactonic sweet gourmands and saw SO many glowing, rapturous reviews. But I hate it 😭😭😭 I think something about the way the orange blossom is blended is very challenging to my nose, and it makes me feel a bit sick. I've kept it in my collection hoping that my nose will change enough to like it, fingers crossed 😩

I am trying not to blind buy especially full bottle. I have been getting travel size or samplers. I just got the Sampler of Finery from Target and also a sampler set from Floral Street . I filled out this survey with Noteworthy and they sent samples which matched my survey.. They sent 4 I liked 2 . Floral Street definitely had some really good ones and the Finery were all good but 1.

Classique essence reminds me of a fizzy orange crean soda, I do enjoy it but it leans a bit too mature for my preferences. Si fiori on the other hand is absolutely stunning :)

Interesting to hear you don't enjoy Gemma Di paradiso... I was looking for that one. I love classique, but the EDT, I get nag champa incense with that, but yeah, a touch of vintage. I like stash but it's a mood. It makes me think of polished furniture. I can't with Burberry anything, I've tried 😂 I really really want to try bourbon 😍 and omg you have si fiori 😭 🤣 Genuine!!!! I love nirvana bourbon! I’ve recently bought 2 bottles off Mercari (quite cheap)I think it kinda smells like a smooth cigar without smoke or much tobacco .. mostly woody to me… I like to add a little extra vanilla to this.. feel sexy with this frag 💃

I didn't think I'd like it at all but then I kept sniffing the bottle! I just got more and more obsessed! I definitely feel about Patchouli the way you feel about wood 😅
