Assets and dignity? If the British didn't come to India there would have been no Railway systems, No Roads or cars, no technology, I could go on and on. The British Empire is probably the best thing that ever happened to India. Millions of Indians now live and work in the U.K and other western countries sending Billions of dollars Pounds and Euro back home to their families in India every week.
@curiouscynic4357 Жыл бұрын
@@sanjushah3061 Most countries where the British NEVER set foot were getting railways. Pathetic to think that British were the ONLY ones! India's wealth at the time was so huge that it would have had railways far more than ANY nation on the world. You pay them they deliver. That is basic. Sas colonial mindset still lingers on with limited dignity or ability to read history beyond what the British and their brown slaves gave us. It massive loot from India that contributed massively to build Britain. A nation with 16% of world's GDP was reduced to less than 1% after systematic looting and stripping of all manufacturing means of the jewel in the crown.

Valuable photographs depicted the history of india
@udaaybagade3433 жыл бұрын
Nice job exploring the history of India during the initial days of British government rule in India. These photographs explains that India was never just an agricultural country, just as it is portrayed today, infact our's was a balanced economy giving importance equally to the industry along with the agriculture and not only that there were gurukuls and universities for students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills. We are infact having the 64 art forms which are recorded in our ancient texts. So our GDP was highest in the world which attracted the muslims first and then the europeans, the first one came as dacoits and on dividing the Indian rulers amongst themselves gained upper hand in the national politics similarly the colonials came as buisness man but there hidden agenda was to gain the upper hand in the power. And it was their good luck that the industrial revolution took place in the euopean countries and as we were ruled by them,they destroyed our industry and the education system and saw that they will get the raw material from India and shipment it to England and then sell that produces back in India. The photographs posted by you are the living legends of our anssetoral wealth plus how the British government produced opium in the British government owned factories which opium they used to destroy the people in Hongkong and adjucent China. Once again I say that this is a very great collection presented by you. Thank you so much for your time and consideration and action and wish you a very great day ahead Sir .

Thanks for giving a great summary and we need more voices like yours to come out. I am just getting myslef into learning the extent of european colonization in India. As you mentionted clearly about the GDP we can therefore see the amount of wealth and what i am learning is that, they took a great deal of our vedic knowlede in furthering their industrial revolution. There are some great videos on youtube by some extremely talented people who deicated to finding the truth of what had happend to Bharat for a thousand years and specifically during the colonial period. Please check out J SAI DEEPAKS book INDIA THAT IS BHARAT a recent favorite of mine. I was Surprised to see the scale of Opium production. special thanks to the creator for sharing these VALUABLE GEMS.
