Suku batak hanya terlihat kasar dan cara bicara yang keras tapi hati mereka baik-baik. ..pengalaman pribadiku waktu kecil rumahku di jakarta barat di kelilingi rumah orang2 suku batak tapi mereka semua baik2.. ketika ayahku sakit mereka semua repot mengantar kerumah sakit dengan mobil salah satu keluarga sedangkan keluarga yang lain menemani kami di rumah yang ketika itu masih kecil2 karena saat itu sudah tengah malam. Ketika SMP dan SMApun berteman akrab walau dengan orang yang berbeda,..Khususnya BATAK KARO... mereka baik2 banget.

Sebenarnya pada dasarnya manusia itu baik kok. Jahat itu minoritas... atau karena uang...dll.. Diskriminasi adalah watak terburuk manusia yg menghilangkan rahmat kasih... Kayak cerita dari buku katolik kristen bagus... Tentang kasih rahmat orang samaria yg baik ketika isa/yesus ditanya siapakah sesama yg harus ditolong dikasihi. i notice uou haven't try martabak yet, it's one of a must try food when you come to Indonesia, there are two types of martabak, first is martabak telor (the savory one) it's like an crispy omelette pastry with a bunch of filling, and the second one is martabak manis (the sweet one) it's like a thick pancake with a various filling inside, and my suggestion filling is the classic one, which is combo chocolate peanut cheese, trust me you'll blown away.

I lived in Medan too, in our country, things can really different when you comes by and stay in any city, especially by nightlife, locals usually inform tourist not to bring out all their stuff while take a walk at that time..street punk can be annoying and mostly dangerous, so just to be safe i suggest u not go out without bring someone with you,just in case*
