Great discipline by humans! It’s a rare video of small cubs. We were lucky to see Dotty’s grow old up cubs in Bandhavgarh. They are called Amar, Akbar and Anthony! Glad that we could film them. Anthony was the boldest.

That is some awesome footage you got there. Was this in Mukki zone? Is this tigress named Badi Madha? If so, only one of the cubs had survived when I visited in May 2018.

Thanks a lot. Yes this was in mukki in April 2018. The tigress is Choti Mada, daughter of badi Mada who is no more. As of the latest info, no cubs of her latest litter survived but some believe that one cub is alive but yet to be seen this season.

Oh ok! I incorrectly thought it was Badi Mada. Thanks for clarifying about that. Will correct the description on my video. BTW, Choti Mada and the remaining cub were just fine when I visited Mukki in May 2018. Shot a video of them at the same watering hole. Very sad if this last cub has not survived. :( I was hoping that she would make it to adulthood. Thanks again, Jaydeep.

@@redcenterau yes, as I just saw in the video of yours, the remaining cub looked superbly fine must say, a brilliant sighting of yours and a fantastic video of the same. One of the male cubs of Mahabir and late kingfisher popularly known as MB2 was patrolling the said area "Minkur waterhole" during the said time and he is believed to be the one who has killed the cubs. He was shifted to satkosia tiger reserve, Orissa in June 2018.

No specific location is mentioned in this video except the park in which it was taken. Kanha is one of the oldest tiger reserves of india and famous worldwide for its tiger sightings. The video is already 2 years old. By your logic, government should also refuse to release the tiger census numbers of every park of India because it might attract poaching. Or the state government abstaining to promote kanha as tiger capital of the world.

It's not a tumor but her mammary gland. The cubs in this video were killed by an intruding male tiger within 1 week of this sighting. The tigress has a new litter of a female cub now which is on the verge of seperating from her mother for carving out a territory of her own.
