How Ian and bigwreck are not the the biggest thing in rock is beyond me such talents and great music

Why pay a band of unruly drug addicts when you can make as much money through a single popstar?

They're not basic and formulaic enough, that's why. To be popular in music, you have to be purely basic, not actually creative like Ian. You have to play the same tunes everyone else plays to get anywhere near the top. Listen close to popular songs: They're all very similar when you break them down.

@@leonpellingtrip of a lifetime mate. Did Vancouver, Whistler, Calgary, Banff, lake Louise, Montreal, and then to Toronto to see big wreck in Brampton and st.Catherine’s and then saw Niagara and back to Vancouver for home. Was insanely good. Do it while you can and they’re playing around. 👍 (Trev from different account lol)

Love Ian Thornley! Wish he and Big Wreck well. This song’s guitar structure reminds me of Myles Kennedy’s ‘Blind Faith’ - an exquisite song! Myles Kennedy (AlterBridge/solo) is a good friend of Ian’s and I hope to see them tour together one day!🙏 Check out Myles Kennedy’s solo album Year of The Tiger and you’ll see how their tastes mesh👍.

Don't forget the song "Breakthrough" from Big Wreck's album The Pleasure and the Greed has Myles singing on it with Ian! Wish they would do more stuff together. Big Wreck could always use a third guitarist again...

Amazing musical journey, eh! Take a listen to the song War Baby, original from the 80s, then listen to the Big Wreck version on the album Ghosts. IMO the best cover song "true to the original" yet they also "made it their own". Incredible musicianship.

This is sick. In April of ‘99 my best friend and I (both musicians but met working at a record label) decided to start an underground magazine. Our first issue covered BW at THE SAINT in Asbury Park, NJ-their tour for their first and amazing release - In Loving Memory Of. And I have never faltered with my incredible admiration and respect for them since! Of course - I’m seeing them here in NYC this spring. I mean, do you really think I wouldn’t be there?
