I played most of those games when I was a kid. Now they're in a museum. Thanks for making me feel old you bastards!!!!!

So many classic arcade games from the early 80s. 79 to 83 was the hayday for arcade games.

It was an exhibit at the Neville Museum in Green Bay, Wisconsin the Summer of 2013. Many of the games were turned off, but there were also some that you could play.

I should visit that museum someday, I also live in Wisconsin.

Even though many of them are technically not “rare”, they’re in great shape and it’s a great exhibit! Agreed that at the very least, they should have been on and in attract mode. But if they were brought in by local collectors, I get why it was “Look but don’t touch”. Thanks for posting!

Mappy was a great game for its time. I used to work in a Ice Cream Creamery / Arcade in the early 80's. It was about the only game I never got tired of the music in the background. Very catchy. Gameplay was fun too!
@Riz233610 жыл бұрын
Wow that's a lot of classic. Too bad they don't have them all powered up and on free play.

I really think it was too bad the people running the show did not have the machines on, in "Attract" Mode! The Reactor Game has one of the best Rock Riffs of any game for Attract mode. (Generally you have to hit a button to make it play the music). All the games were designed to be on and try to get you to come play the game. The Satan's Hollow machines are really nice looking. They did show that the Tron Handles are the same as the Satan's Hollow handles and of course if they had shown it, Gorf has the same control Handle too. (But they are all different colors, you can swap them between games, but obviously Tron is Blue, SH is Red and Gorf is black). The Star Wars machine that is the sit down version is worth a lot!, I saw one go for 5k back in 98. The machines in this show were Mint! Thanks for sharing this video! Sluggo

What kind of arcade doesn't let you play the games? Instead you just get to look at them. Cool arcade.

The Baby Pacman machine had a flaw to it, if you turned it off and on real fast it would spit out a 100 credit`s just like Donkey Kong gave you a credit If you kicked it in the right spot .. I miss my youth, nobody was WOKE!!!

@williamcrowe25765 жыл бұрын
I think the rarest games are the combination pinball/video game cabinets.
@Suhadisgood3 жыл бұрын
These aren’t rare in my state they are everywhere you can buy them or play them in the arcade for as long you want for $15 the entire day all of these games also came on consoles but who would pay tokens today on any of these old games when there are better games maybe if the Nintendo 8 bit was today’s console the arcade would be still busy

I wouldn’t say these are rare video games but I’ll tell you this they break there is no ending of them breaking unless you stop playing on them if your better off buying arcade 1 ups who don’t break comes with more then just 1 game
