Good to see you back Sonny. As always, another well done video. You've brought back a lot of memories for me. I used to travel the world for work and I've eaten pretty much everything. The colorfulness of this village is very similar to some of the remote villages of Mexico and central America, believe or not. People are so warm and friendly. Thanks for all the nice videos and I always look forward to seeing them. BTW, you got the Asian Squat down like a pro!

Actually that's how you empty the ash in the bowl. You draw all the smoke into the cone, blow a bit of air back into the boong to push the ash out (usually there will be a little water come out too just like in this video), then you take a big deep draw of smoke into your lung, done. That's how you smoke Thuoc Lao.

Well, if you ever do manage to put a little nest egg away Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos are excellent choices for extreme budget traveling. Your biggest expense will be airfare even if you stay for weeks. I know plenty of people that went and ended up staying simply because the cost of living was so low (including myself). We're doing it wrong in America. Crazy expensive prices for overly processed food, meanwhile in Vietnam you have food like this for a buck.

The Vietnamese people are very resilient. After all the centuries of strife in their country, they can still smile and show courtesy to foreigners.

You were missed, my Besty. This video is terrific and informative. The local people who surround you are hardworking and honest and it gives us a glimpse into a culture so different from ours in the U.S. Thank you, Sonny, for another awesome video. I sincerely wish the best for you in your future endeavors. Your peeps will fully support whatever you do because to be a Besty means to be loyal!
