LOL! Good question. I've read that VooDoo Child is very similar, American Beauty is a good pollen source as well as some white clones.

I think someone should try to cross s-8 and white flesh variety. Maybe you can get a bigger sugar dragon.

I think there are many more than people think... Most varieties need to be cross pollinated and I think they hybridize in nature more than we can imagine... In my humble opinion. Thanks for watching.

Yes. I have recently acquired 7-S to compare it to Sugar Dragon and Voodoo Child. I've asked about it and old growers have all stated they are different.

Hi Paul, from your experience, how many times a year does sugar dragon flower and fruit? I live in Sacramento, CA and have very limited garden space, so been having trouble deciding whether to grow this species because of its small fruit; i hope it produces more than once a year

Hi! As it matures, it will become the earliest and latest bloomer in our climate if grown in the correct conditions. My friend had a healthy Sugar Dragon plant the bloomed on Christmas Eve :)
