Please do a 1h/2h Financial Due Diligence Case where you explain how to go though it. There isn't any FDD business case on youtube that go deep in to this.

As someone who works as PE associate, it is also important to clarify that this is a really basic model. In real life the models are much more complex.

Love your content! I’m a recent law school graduate starting at a larger law firm that focuses heavily in PE in September. Your videos give me great insight into the client’s perspective of the industry!

Ater 7 yrs in mid size PE shop I gotta say beware if you ever want to be on your own, cause a lot of stuff you do a daily basis is nerdy - assumptions, models, scenarios, internal meetings. In real life on your own it's more gut and perseverance rather than safe and predictable number crunching, IRR scenarios and endless analysis.

Awesome video! Would you be able to share a few examples of why the company was not "as successful" after acquisition? Consensus seems like the acquisition made sense on paper, however, what was it that Warburg Pincus later encountered? Thanks!!!

Just wondering if you would share the financial model as it look very excited? I Could not afford to pay the tuition I wish I could become like you one again ! Really motivated me to work hard

I would love to see a video on Operational Due Diligence because I feel that financial modeling and financial due diligence only tell half the story, while operations tell the other half. For example, the opportunity showcased in your video might appear clearer if there was some kind of operational due diligence, making it evident that this opportunity isn't a simple slam dunk.

Some even don’t consider software product due diligence, when target is a cybersecurity software company.

Hi Ben, do guys in PE usually start with building out the operating models (including debt schedule) before moving on to DCF? I am in CorpDev at a company with no leverage needs, so I am quite unfamiliar with Debt schedules.
@rareliquid3 ай бұрын
for PE, LBO is way more important than DCF because the LBO determines what the ROI will be
