Another route is to first get a job at a middle market bank as an analyst and then try to land a job at a buldge bracket bank as an experienced analyst/associate if that's the goal. Worked at a big 4 and know a good amount of people that got jobs as an IB Analyst after working a few years out of college. Where you went to school doesn't matter as much at that point.

After a terrible 2022, shell-shocked financial backers have a lot to think about and losses to recover from. An expansion report and a wealth of other data did little to alter assumptions that the Central bank would likely keep raising interest rates regardless of whether the economy slows down. This implies that portfolios will experience more losses during the first quarter of 2023. I'm currently at a crossroads deciding whether to exchange my $250k security/stock portfolio; how might the continuous market volatility work to my advantage?

Concentrate on two main objectives. First and foremost, keep yourself safe by knowing when to sell stocks to reduce losses and maximize gains. Second, prepare yourself to gain from a market turnaround. I advise you to seek the advice of a representative or financial counselor

@blllllllllllllllllllrlrlrl70592 жыл бұрын
You have a few options: Step 1: transfer. If you work at a multinational company which has us offices for more than one year, you can transfer on the L1b visa, or the L1a visa if you're a manager/executive. Step 2: study. If you're a bachelor's degree recipient, apply for a master's degree in the us. Save up enough money to cover the 1st year of studies, and then apply for a masters course. You'll need to do the GMAT test, but it will allow you to get hired by a US firm either on a H1b visa (a lottery-based 6 year work visa that can get you a green card, often used for tech and consultancy companies) or on OPT (12 month work authorization after university for international students, at the end of which you ought to have a h1b or some other form of work authorization) Step 3: Canada. Although it is tough to get into the US, it is comparatively easy to get into Canada. 1 year of full time work experience will make you eligible for the canadian express entry programs for skilled workers, a point based system of immigration. After 3 years of PR, you can apply for canadian citizenship, which will have to be processed and takes approx. 1 year, at which point you are entitled to TN-1 status. TN status only requires documents like a letter from your employer, has no yearly cap, and takes around 45 mins to get at a US border checkpoint. This makes it an easier option for companies to hire Canadians, usually for 6 or 9 year periods, at which point you can get an employer sponsored green card, a marriage based green card, or whatever other long term employment authorization. And the 4th option is always marriage. Good luck!
