my takes: 1- STORYTELLING is key 2- SOCIAL PROOF is vital 3- create a sense of URGENCY 4- build RELATIONSHIP at scale 5- give THUMBS UP!

I've been getting geared up for an upcoming project Salvador, listening to your podcasts for weeks now, as I go for walks around town, and "getting to know you" a bit in the process. This video ran "accidentally" after another I had watched. In fact, I missed the beginning of it, but got easily drawn in-unaware at first it was you. When I did realize it, it was like running into an old friend! You have a sincerity that shines through, and you're doing a great job!

This is good! I watched the entire video because you made it worth my time with the content you shared with us. You definitely inspired me to try crowd funding once more. I tried it for my business needs and was unsuccessful and discouraged. I'm still struggling to stay in business without the necessary resources. After watching your videos, I'm encouraged to put myself out there once more. Thanks Salvador!

I just found out about you and love your videos! I really like the clean format, the clarity and the sound on the video. Personally, I like longer formats because you are actually digging into a topic rather than skimming the surface and I can see you have a lot to offer. You have a fan now for life now.

Salvador, thanks for taking the time to produce this video. Like you said in this video nothing can be accomplished if someone only THINKS about doing what is takes to get a product off the ground. I have to learn the process and correct steps. And telling my story to others that reflect why I am creating a product. It is because of frustrations that I have experienced over the years in being a DIYer. I am a first time "inventor" and have filed my first provisional patent. I am not good at story telling but after I watched this video (and will watch other videos that you have produced) I feel better about how to tell my story. Thanks Jim Hamilton Georgetown TX

Thank you Salvador. Really every video you did has helped to get a lot of people to donate for treatment of the little boy in my city. We just started the campaign, and there is still work left, but you are clearly the person who helped us to clarify strategies and to get 5000€ until now. really thank you from my heart for working on research and your videos. Greetings from Spain, Calp.

The best way to learn how to do something is to hear from someone who has done it. Slavador gave a fun and informative presentation that helped me understand vitally important ways to make crowdfunding work for me. Thank you Salvadore. You practice what you preach by sharing yourself and your experience. You're wonderfully open and personable.

GOOD VIDEO SAL. Like many of the other videos I get so much from them. Some I even watch twice. I need to decide how and what campaign to choose. Many people have put a lot of themselves into their endeavors but mine goes so much more into peoples lives and the pain their looking to heal. Looking forward to watching and maybe taking you up on your 20 minute consult offer. Again, thanks Ray

You know what ? It was the first video I have seen of you, and this is also the first comment and thumb up I have ever given. And the strange thing is that I was really close to change video around a minute, because I thought you talked to much about yourself and not enough about the actual topic. And here we are, you turned a stranger into a friend because I have the feeling that this post won't be ignored ! So well done bro !

Great stuff to get me thinking. I just took on my first ever client to help with their social media for a kickstarter coming up next month and I need all the ideas I can get!
@MichelleGoddard8 жыл бұрын
I dabbled in network marketing for years and set up facebook pages, blogs and sites in the process. I never made any significant income, but learned a few things along the way. A relative recommended me to one of their own clients as someone that might be able to help, so I'm learning on the fly but so far just helping them post on Facebook, set up a Mailchimp list etc. so far. A great learning experience, I just hope I can help them achieve the kickstarter goals.

Nice stuff Salvador! Solid points. So what type of relationship building content do you recommend when running a campaign? Like would you run video ads with the founders just talking about the "why" behind the product and where the idea came from, etc. Do you find text alone powerful enough?

Hey Salvador, thanks for your video. I am close to completion of creating hands-free ecosystem tablet/smart phone holders for bed, kitchen and office desktop that are stowed away and hidden when not in use. I have a couple questions that I still haven't found the answers. 1. where/how to identify and build crowdfunding tribe on kickstarter/IndieGogo? 2. How and when do you actually start building social media backers? Thanks agains! Shun Chang
