although not on the list, i think an honorable mention for "rarest" would be the ATH-EM700 SV, which is an very, very rare version of the already pretty rare ATH-EM700. the SV version has the persona 3 logo on the left headphone, and, based on a singular photo, as evidence of this model's existence is incredibly scant, it comes with a gekkoukan high bag.

You can find those (it you're extremely lucky to come across) is eBay or Japan's Yahoo auctions. But they are probably gonna be very expensive so who knows how much it is worth rn.

I don’t know the headphone model numbers, but I know that the P3 Makoto headphones, the actual model IRL is very rare and expensive because of P3. And I remember vaguely, that there were headphone releases for P4D, Japan only. And they had character voices for different settings and such.

My rarest collectible is the Persona 4 Social Link Expansion Pack, it was Amazon exclusive when the original PS2 version came out. I’ve only ever seen a couple listings for it across many years, and it’s always extremely expensive.

I only recently learned about this pack from another commenter and that pack is for sure very expensive. I've never even seen listings of it at all across roughly 5 years of casually looking, so it's probably the rarest Persona 4 related thing out there from what I've seen so far.

if your talking about Makoto Kaitou, it's not that rare, just expensive, partly due to there being a re-release this month (that got delayed to april). I think? One of the rarest persona figures is the arabian armor Rise, I've seen that go for like £1000.

I got the PQ bundle with the game case and I used it whenever I traveled. I still use the dancing Teddie Vita case for electronics or cords when I travel. The P4D Teddy keychain unfortunately snapped, it was much too heavy for the thin rings. Luckily, somebody picked it up and handed it to me. So it’s dented, but I still have it and now use it as a paperweight. I don’t have any of the special systems, but I got the bundles on pre-order so there was no markup. P4D was my favorite game bundle, but I really wish I had pre-ordered the P4G bundle when it first came out. That was when I got my Vita, and the reason I decided to get the system. so I couldn’t afford more than the regular version. I started slacking on paying attention to when things were opening preorders due to depression and other health problems, and the bundle I got for P3R is just OK. I think most of the price was the figure and that’s not worth it for me. They artbook is quality though, and I always like getting the CDs! I have an external cd drive just to copy them over. My other favorite Persona collectibles are: - Magatsu Izanagi figure. It’s probably close to 12 inches tall, and has detachable parts and flowing tassels/towels to the coat. It’s on one of those stands with the arcana face - swappable P4 character rubber straps. I’ve been able to get my hands on Adachi, Kanji, Teddie, and Nanako. You can swap out the outfits and hair with the bodies. They’re really cute and fun to mismatch. I had given Teddie and Nanako go to my ex-husband. - art books. I know I have all the English copies of the P4A/U art books, and I have one that wasn’t released in English. - I really dig the sets that come with plushes. I have Koromaru and Morgana… And Izanagi?? I never understood why there was Izanagi, but not Teddie. My top favorite official collectibles though are my Dojima and Adachi rubber keychains. The design style is wicked cute! They are backed with a brown rubber color, and the face, bodies, and clothes are an upper layer. I had forgotten about a black tote bag I had picked up from a Japanese site. It’s the same place I got a large poster, and I think they’re both for the Music Live Concerts. I didn’t go to the music live obviously, but they weren’t pricy (each under $20usd) and very cool looking! I enjoy functional collectibles, and enjoy using or displaying them until I need to put them away for their safety. One collectible I have major gripes with are they arcana cards that came with different P4 sets. I still don’t have them all. I have doubles of some, but I don’t have a full freaking set!!! Each different collectible version would give you some with P4 games. (So that we’re clear, I’m considering all this stuff official because it has Atlus or Persona etc trademarked on it.)

I had put all my figures in storage while my bathroom was being fixed. But I am now remembering these very cute P4 figures that leaned against a magnetic stand. I remember having Yu, Kanji, Ted, and Adachi. I also have one very small figure of General Teddie I got online. I would like to mention that I got my original swappable Adachi strap in a blind box resale bin in Akiba when I went with my husband. I only bought one blind box resale per franchise, and I’m still amazed I got Adachi because that’s the most expensive on eBay.

I rented Revelations: Persona in '97 or '98. I had no clue what was going on and felt like I wasn't . . . I dunno, ready for it, I guess. I had read about it in Gamefan (and later, its' successor, Play) and it put SMT on my periphery, they talked about it back then, as they had two or three editors who lived in Japan and could speak the language. I ended up finding a copy of P2 for $40, rounding out my PS1 RPG collection, and looking really cool next to my copies of P3 - P5. Edit: Seeing the changes they did for Revelations: Persona, I would say that the North American printing is a product that borders on vandalism. Minor translation modifications (to account for culture differences) are one thing, but amputating entire bits of the story, arbitrary race changes, and poor localizations are another. Truly baffling, almost disrespectful.

Getting a little meta here with persona merch but before the anniversary vinyl sets came out there were a small handful of bootleg persona 4 golden vinyl records. I managed to get my hands on one of them. The person who makes them uses Moonshake/Not Moonshake as an alias and this person produces pretty high quality rips of video game OSTs on vinyl records. It’s not some standard record in a blank sleeve either. The outside sleeve uses official art and the actual record comes in a clear dark blue with the center ring art being themed as well. (They also come in pink as well afaik) it was actually a pretty interesting rabbit hole to dive into and finding a single person producing multiple pressed OSTs years before companies like iam8bit starting picking up these last few years.

Part of the reason it's so expensive is just cause it was European only. You could probably find it a bit cheaper if you live in Europe but as someone in the US it's quite hard to find

I bought a Playstation classic and it has Persona: Revelations within the bundled games. Though not physical it is very cheap since the Playstation Classic is seen as a bad product. The PS Classic also has a lot of emulation capabilities from what I've seen. Just felt like mentioning because I WAS NOT going to spend so much on a physical Persona: Revelations copy.

Don't know where you are getting some of these prices. Persona 1 and 2 on PSP should sell for no more then like $200 each on PSP (CIB). The Persona Windows Port regularly goes up on sale, same with its Giten Megami Tensei brother. The P1 Windows should net you no more than $100 before fees. Giten is uber-expensive, maybe going for 20,000 Yen on a good day.

I believe it was announced at Tokyo Game Show in September of 2019, but I'm not too sure of an exact release date. It was only released in Japan though so you would've needed a proxy to get it imported
