That dunk on Mel Turpin (#54 in white at about 13 minutes) and the reaction was because on the play earlier, Mike dunked on John Stockton. While running back on defense a Utah fan yelled at him to pick on someone his own size. So the next possession he found 7-0 Mel Turpin and dunked on. When he was running back down the court this time, he looked at the fan and asked, "Was he big enough?"

This is why we called him Air Jordan. And sometime it looked like he walking through the air and we called it the "Air Walk". Every kids in the late 80s and early 90s tried to do the air walk. I've never seen anyone do it before him nor anyone after--and I've been watching basketball for nearly four decades.

This is why it doesn't matter how many stats LBJ puts up. Michael Jordan passes the eye test better than anybody ever, you cannot duplicate the things he done. G.O.A.T.

It's so funny how they are reacting because those of us who grew up in the 90's or were adults in the 90's, we saw him doing this at least 2 - 3 nights a weeks haha. We threw the popcorn in the air multiple times. Everyone who has touched a basketball when make some play, or do some move that someone else has done before or can replicate. No one has yet to duplicate how MJ would maneuver mid air.

To put it in perspective - as a person alive at the time: there were teams around the league at the time who consulted biologists and physicists, trying to figure out how MJ was flying and (seemingly) floating the way he did. In essence, they suspected he may have been a mutant, possessing some unique muscle structure or something. THAT is the level of awe MJ caused.

Hey giving you a heads up, when jordan was on the 84 Olympics team when he won his first gold before professionals played in the Olympics college kids did . A college Olympic team would play the NBA All-Stars eight games for practice and Jordan before he was a pro beat the NBA All-Stars eight straight times in a row and he wasn’t even a pro yet can you imagine an all college team beating the NBA all stars today eight straight games it will never happen again why? Because they don’t have an MJ !!!That’s how good this dude was there’s no player including LeBron that was as good as this dude . The 84 NBA all stars had Magic Johnson, Larry, bird Isaiah Thomas, James worthy, Clyde Drexler, Bill Walton, Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, & Danny Ainge . Team USA had Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Sam Perkins, Chris Mullins, Alvin Robertson, Steve Alford, Vern Fleming, Joe Kleine, Jon Koncak, Wayman Tisdale, Jeff Turner, & Leon wood. Jordan ran a 4.3 in College & was said he ran 4.2 with the bulls but not officially timed, he had 48” vertical a 6’ 11”wingspan he was 6.6 tall & hands the size of a baseball glove. He was the most clutch player at the end of the game with the most athleticism determination skill with a kill & no mercy attitude & never took a night off . If Jordan didn’t retire in 94 95 after his dad was murdered in July 93 and the bulls management would have not broke up the team by not renewing Phil Jackson’s contract . Jordan say would not play for an other coach so he retired again in 99 they could have keep the team together for at least three to four more years in 2002 jordan was 39 years old . There is no doubt if Jordan played five or six more seasons 94,95, 99, 2000, 01, 02 , LeBron wouldn’t be close to his stats and he would at least have two or three more rings guaranteed. he’d have eight or nine rings maybe with one appearances in the finals was a lose. Jordan play in NBA 15 year but one year I think second year in League he had a season-ending injury, so really only played 14 seasons 2 years with The wizards in 01 played in 60 game & 02 played in 82 games at 39 & turned 40 during the season he’s the only 40 yr old to score 43 points 10 rebounds & 4 steals in a game & Average 22.4 points per game as a 40 year old in 02-03 season. So if Jordan would have played in NBA as long as LeBron James, who at this point and still going LeBron been in the league for 20 years, and MJ had to go to college for three years LeBron went straight to NBA MJ would have him beat in every stat category except for maybe rebounds because LeBron is a power forward and MJ was a shooting guard he should out-rebound Jordan like a Center would .

Have you all reacted to Michael Jordan “Total Reverse” ? Also at the 19:36 mark he definitely could’ve passed the rock to JP but u see he had a mismatched and baited the off defender to come in to him knowing he would sag off of JP and then recover back to him so could finish what he started. Aye Jordan That press X was funny as hell though

Theres a video of him in college playing defense where he jumps so high for a block that his momentum carried him into the backboard. He knew he couldn't avoid contact so he turned his back to it and scrunched down to minimize it and still hit about 4 inches below his shoulders on the bottom of the backboard. Ive never seen anyone get that high before or since.
