Noticed a lot of people saying "Why did you pick up loot, it's slower" We had an unwritten rule of "Pick up loot you'd normally pick up, as if you were doing it for money." We have A LOT of these "unwritten rules" that usually go unnoticed, but they create a more watchable video. Ex. Not looting the drops doesn't help the viewer experience, seeing the loots in the inventory helps the viewers follow the progression. Little things like that can make the difference between a bad -> okay video and a good -> great video. One of the little tricks we learned along the way.

I think a better thing to do with leftover money in these bids is to convert it into different tiers of food so you're a bit more conscious about it and have to balance out it's worth a bit more, since near the end of it, you both just started throwing money out like crazy knowing you would still have enough for a full inventory of sharks. Something like 5k for 1 swordfish, 10k for monkfish, 15k for sharks, 20k for mantas, 25k for anglerfish, or a similar model.

Suggestion: Auction off 2 sets of each combat style plus various amulets/rings. Here’s the catch: you only know if it’s magic/ranged/melee and the slot for the first sets. After the first sets are auctioned off, both of you get told if the next gear piece is higher tier, lower tier, or the same tier as the previous. This gives advantage to the player who bought a rune chainbody and knows the next body is worse. The other player could think it’s a Torag’s body compared to a d chain. On the other hand, knowing an item is higher tier could only be an upgrade from climbing boots to iron boots and could lead you astray.

no offense but he played the auction very badly. godswords are extremely accurate, and the specs double the accuracy... literally the most accurate attacks in game.rings of recoil are the best ring in pvp and will do more damage than any other ring by far. link didnt get spoonfed his specs, lowering 65 def levels isnt even half of what bgs couldve done. he won because he got the best two items

Fun fact. Without a defender, regular godsword attacks are similar dps to a whip. Something like a dfs makes the whip better, or a dragon defender makes a d scim as good as a godsword. So in other words, if you dont have an offhand, any godsword is better than practically every other melee weapon in terms of dps once you factor in specs. In particular, ags and bgs are going to win almost every time against even a rapier. I'm not sweaty enough to go run the numbers, but I'd bet the BGS is the single best item in the entire game rargh or link could get in these challenges. It's high dps plus its spec is perfect if your opponent has to fight to the death.

I feel like I should add that if you're wearing gear with offensive bonuses, the whip is also going to be better in those cases. So with barrows or metal armors, the godsword is going to be equivalent. With even a torso or an amulet of strength, the whip will be better. It's because the whip will hit 7 times for every 4 with a godsword, and each hit has the same boost, so let's say your gear gives you +8 max hits. With the godsword, you have the potential to hit +32 more in 28 ticks. With a whip, you'll have the potential to hit +56 more within the same 28 ticks. Starting from the same baseline dps, the whip is much better. I just didnt want to see people start wearing max strength gear and using godswords.

Suggestion: From scratch (rune pick, rune axe, 250 gp) get as much XP as possible in 1 or 2 hours. Every 1000 XP is 1 or 2 spins on the PVP randomizer. Lots of potential routes to try. Seems fresh

Suggestion: General Stores Each of you has X amount of money (and limited time) to buy player-sold items from general stores. Completely depends on what other players/ironmen have randomly sold to the shops. Could be really fun and no way of predicting what items you might be able to find! Might get lucky and find a rune weapon, might have to improvise with something much worse if clock is running out.

Video idea for the next bidding episode: Do whatever cash collecting challenge the way you see fit, but you each choose a known pker from your country/continent to represent you during the bid war. Example: framed bids for raargh and solo mission bids for link. Alternatively, flip the script and you do the collecting and bidding but the pker you chose to represent you does the fight. Call it a chess match or king vs king or something. This'll allow you to be more aggressive in your gear choices without having to worry if you'll be good at hybriding. Nice vids as always 😊

here's some criticism. i think the auction would be more fun if it wasn't so obvious that you would have 2x helm, 2x legs, 2x body, misc (ring/amulet) and then weapons. its more fun if you don't know what to expect. in this video rargh outbid link on the legs, knowing that link probably would show up without legs. either put more items total, or make it more random (less predicable). maybe 3 chests, 1 helm, 4 legs and so on, but changing randomly each auction episode. It doesnt have to be fair, it has to be strategical. nevertheless, i think the amount of different weapons was good, as you couldn't outbid each other on weapons, because you knew there was going to probably come another weapon later on, and you would have wasted the money you used to outbid
