I had no idea it even happened. HS esports used to be a huge event and very entertaining too, especially with the pioneer pros. Sad to see what has become of it. Barely generates any interest these days

It even had a decent prize pool. I knew it was happening cuz I saw it advertised on the Battlenet launcher but a 600k prize pool championship should be better advertised. I get better marketing from our $200 fighting game locals.

I mean, part of it is I have zero clue who either of these guys are. Also, if I didn't know it was worlds by the title of the video, I would assume it was some off-brand tourney with randos I couldn't give a crap about. Like the production quality is so low, and there's is no live event with the crowd going wild to hype me up.

The overheal priest is really interesting. Cards like funnel cake and snake oil actually work with pelagos, and snake oil is a free spell. Also just a 1 mana 2/2

CJkaka never belonged in the finals. He had an extremely lucky 5-win streak against statistically much stronger decks. PocketTrain said it himself - Meati's decks were highly favored to win and he just got high-rolled like crazy.

That trade in the first game was to protect smaller bodies. CJ would have traded into 2/2 and pinged 2/1. That trade saved Train 2 damage.

11:30 i think he freaked out and the caster also freaked out cus he was suppose to buff the 7/7 with location cus i dont think pockettrain know if the minion will equal his stat first before triggering the spell or not making it 3-3 and hit 2 for nothing and missed lethal

I dont like the sharp shooter or the swarm druid dragon. I think those are stupid cards that cheeses wins by duing unfun stuff BUT if the oponent plays exodia i love to see them get fk no matter the cost. aganst aggro u can atleast have a bord clear vs exodia u can just throw your cards in there face and hope they die befor u have litterly 0 counterpaly
