Context brother context. 1. It wasn't a city it was a military based filled to the brim with Tanks, in Cataclysm that military base was used to launch a attack in the barrens leading to the capture of camp Taurajo and the slaughter of all the civilians inside of it by driving them into the Quill boars. 2. Garroshs emotions were already tainted by the Sha at that point, since we forgive Sylvanas for being tricked into siding with the Jailor we can forgive Garrosh for being controlled by old God magic into doing it. 3. He didn't open a portal to the past, Wrathion with the help of the Infinite dragonflight did, both of which are now cordial with the Horde and Alliance, so apparently sending Garrosh into the past wasn't seen as something THAT bad. So yes, on the grand scale Garrosh did nothing wrong.

I just wanted to drop a comment and say you could definitely milk one more episode of viewership out of me if you guys did a Bonus Episode after the series wrapped. A Bonus Episode where you guys open all the extra packs these accounts got, and are allowed to dust your duplicates/spend all your dust youve accumulated and have one last Best-of-Five to end things.

For the record, Garrosh turned into a time-traveling WoW-Hitler who did an ethnic cleansing of his faction trageting all non-orcs.

*Targetting all non-Orcs that weren't Goblins, Blood Elves, Pandaren or Tauren because he only started targetting the other Horde races that weren't Orcs when the "civil war" started getting heated after what was patch 5.2.5 ingame. Technically speaking, he only ethnically cleansed the Trolls (which doesn't exactly make it better), although he did have something against Sylvanas' methods when it comes to Plague usage and reviving new Undead (which... he actually did have a good point on to his credit lmao). It was only after the insurrection happened when he started actually targetting Tauren, Pandaren and Blood Elves too because their leaders were unequivocally on Vol'jins side in the "civil war" (and the Goblins also still were on Garroshs side even after the "civil war" got kicked off). I'd argue that Sylvanas was the WoW-Hitler equivalent and Garrosh was more like... an Orcish Kaiser Wilhelm II. or Tsar Nicholas II.

Hey Rarran, was wondering if it would be beneficial to maybe introduce a "ban deck for one week" feature. Would basically force each player to create something new instead of relying on the same deck every week (cough cough galakrond rogue). Make it so you can't ban the same deck twice in a row and you guarantee more variety each week. Thanks for the video btw this series is amazing and a must watch for me everytime it comes out.

the problem with that rule is that its targeted towards punishing ecore and not rarran. considering rarran was using mostly sludge belcher for his wins in the first few episodes, its unfair to tell ecore he cant use the deck he got from the challenge

Yeah Garrosh did the equivalent of a nuke against a human city among other things (like becoming empowered by the Old God Y'shaarj after tainting the Vale of Eternal Blossoms with the heart). He dropped a mana bomb on Theramore & then went on to paint the continent of Pandaria red with blood for the Horde! Oh and numerous other war crimes/time travel bullshit shenanigans. Other than that, he was a pretty solid guy

The meta (if you can call it that) is really starting to solidify down feels like the decks are not really changing much each expansion. For me my favorite thing is ecore and rarrans dynamic so this isnt a huge deal, but i think maybe increasing the number of decks brought each week could help with that. I think a "you must use x new cards" solution kinda kills the spirit of the series.

I think Ecore has gotten very comfortable with a few set decks. A lot of people have pointed out his reliance on Galakrond rogue, and his ignoring the undead priest package to once again pick the quest priest. Idk if he's been short on time recently or what, but the lack of variety in his deck building is probably why a lot of viewers feel less engaged. Still enjoying the content, but i wanted to try to share that criticism in a constructive way!

I think a complete rotation of classes each week would keep the series fresh. For example if you bring rogue this week, you can't bring it next week.

Super easy out at 41:30 would've been deathborne into dispelling both curses before they get a chance to hit you. The dragged belows might even have hit his own minions rather than the new skeletons.

In order to spice up the series what if you tried a class draft. Each player gets a ban, and then does a league like draft and you can’t pick the same class maybe this way we won’t see the same decks every week (from ecore)

For death knight maybe you could do a dust budget where each player picks 5k dust worth of cards to "have" while the rest are effectively banned. That way you dont have 1 super complete class.

41:38 the 5Head play here would be to hit the 5/8 with your face and then flamestrike, if there are no targets for the abyssal curse to hit, no curses go to your hand. Rarran still had the 6/6 reborn next turn, but it would make him so salty not putting any curse in your hand with his legendary. Also read in the comments below the deathborne play, but that had to be before trading

I like the idea of the Galakrond Rogue deck always being there as a sort of test for newer cards. It's almost a test for newer cards and decks. I am not trying to say bash your head against that Gal Rogue deck, but I do the like contrast of an older deck vs the newer stuff. Love your content Rarran and love the banter between you and basically anyone you have on, keep doing what you're doing its very entertaining, insightful and overall a joy to watch. Edit: posted this before seeing you mention Deathknight at the end. I understand why, it is so strong, but aside from the discover rule, which only allowed cards from newer expansions if it was the closest option, I feel like, from a viewer perspective, you are no longer showcasing decks/builds of that time from a certain class if you are implementing rules on that class specifically. Maybe if you both didnt have access to the same strong cards it would make more sense. Again, you're content is yours and what content YOU make is what I choose to watch, just a bit of my own viewer insight.
