I just got la yucawam and love it too. They have a few surprisingly great scents !

Great review Matt. I'm a big fan of Rasasi too. Wore Sotoor Waaw a couple days ago in the evening and I think I overdid it. 🤭 Very hot outside lately. Still, what a wonderfully calming scent.

This fragrance is a clone of Christian Dior Feve delicieuse (vanilla and tonka) dominating fragrance. Ebhar is amazing fragrance for the winter and night time

Nice & precise review. I've also blind bought this fragrance a while ago, and coincidentally wear it today just to see how it smells in high heat.....I didn't try that before because I considered it a winter fragrance but like you said: you have to experiment with it to find out. And it seems you're right in that the heat will diminish the durability. It is certainly very sweet, one of the ingredients Rasasi stating it has is 'addictive praline' and I do find it is having a certain mood lifting element and I was thinking there might be some oud in there that is enhancing the sweetness or something....That's only guessing for me, I'm not really experienced in the fragrance world. Anyways, my conclusion is that it's pretty strong, one or two spray's will be enough to basically smell it all the time :) and it is indeed almost gourmandisch (?), sweet vanilla fragrance that will make you feel positive and it also feels pretty luxurious. The bottle helps to get that impression. I also have Morhaf which to me is much more on the feminine side, also a strong scent and pretty enjoyable.

Hi Matt ☺️ I have the Qasamat Morhaf version. It’s pretty good. Is that the one you mentioned is more like More Than Words? If so, it’s good but I have a sample of MTW and I’m absolutely in love with it. Whereas this Rasasi is good and I enjoy it. But not much more than that 💕

May have saved me a job. Yes it's the one that has been recommended as a More Than Words alternative. I absolutely adore MTW and will always have a bottle , one I cannot be without

Questioning Scents ok now that I know this I’m going to test them side by side and I’ll let you know. I do already know however that I desperately want a FB of MTW!! 🤭❤️

I picked this up along with bareeq "BR540" as soon as they hit discounters. This one leans a touch feminine to me. I haven't given this one a full wearing yet. Bareeq isn't as sweet as BR540 and it's got great performance.

Cheers for the feedback buddy. Hope you are well and I look forward to trying the other one

I've got a sample of Bareeq, like a heavier, less transparent br540. I've also got a sample of Morhaf sitting at home but can't get to it due to covid! Rasasi might just be my favourite house. Keen to try the Boruzz line next, would be interested to hear what you think of those.
@QuestioningScents4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I'll get round to all of them. Very good quality more good ones from a decent House. Have you tried LaYucawam?

@@QuestioningScents yep its excellent. Daarej punches way above its price point and is worth having a sniff of. Shuhrah is nasty and amazing at the same time, I havent quite decided yet. A bonkers smell with powerhouse performance either way you look at it.

Rasasi Ebhar is absolutely safe buy. Soft, quickly turns into a skin scent. “Oily Arabic vanilla” that’s how I can describe it🤪 I like it! Morhaf from same line - big NO. Masculine retro rose 😖
