I've been depressed for 2 years of my life, I used to cut, I had suicidal thoughts, Name it, I probably did it. I decided to get Baptized a few months ago. And I'm so glad I did, I walked out of church that day feeling fresh, Like I was given a second chance in life, And to this day, I have never been depressed, Or had a single thought of cutting or suicide. This song explains everything. Through God everything is possible! :)

I can totally relate. I've cut and been suicidal also. I still am struggling with depression. My grandma died about two months ago. I had been a month clean before that and then I cut for two days after she did. But I've been clean ever since. My mom, my friends and my therapist are proud of me and honestly so am I. During the funeral my pastor said something that made me think and now whenever I hear something I think of my grandma and that I know she wouldn't want me to. God loves us.

I've tried... My old school (wich I graduatet from 2 years ago) was a christian school, so I've spent nine years learning 'bout God... I'm confirmated so I've gone to church a lot also with my christians friends just for the social part of it, but I can't bring my self to believe in any kind of deity... I do understand why some people believe it, and they all, incl. you, got my deepest respect... But it's just not the right path for me - that is one of the only things I know about my self :)

This song actually has real meaning to me. One of my best friends put me through hell for a while and he apologized a bit ago and we were friends again but... he did it again! And just a few days ago he said sorry again through this song. I love rascal flatts... always have

Hey..i just wanted to tell u i have felt the way u feel...not fitting in and people have confidence in themselves and we just can't seem to find it..and i got saved at 12 years old and then at 13 i met a guy and he introduced me to everything drugs and sex and things i shouldn't be in..i got pregnant at 15 and man it was hard. But the reason i couldn't get it was because i wasn't walking it...in the presence of the Lord..please go to church and give your life to the Lord and give Him a chance...

Beautiful song. To change, I had to stop looking for capital "G" god in places like churches that were damning of others and taught love but with strings on who the love was open to....I firmly believe in a power greater than I - my addictions are a negative power greater than I, so conversely there has to be a positive energy, and there is. It's a spiritual thing. Too many confuse spirtuality with church and religion. The higher power of my understanding loves all equal.

I don't have any religion (and no I am not an Athiest), but this is what I kinder of miss when I look at my christian friends and other christians - how they find them self and find confidence in them selfes through God... I've got kind of an identity crissis where I can't really find out who I really am lately ... Sometimes I envy the Christians that. But stille I will probably never become a christan myselfes - I just can't bring myselfes to believe the Gods exist.

Haha I wish my boyfriend would realize everything and change. He got arrested for relapsing on meth. But he was doing so good before he relapsed. Only thing is, I've given him so many chances. Every single time he says "I'm going to change. I promise. I'm done with this stuff." And then he does it again. So I broke up with him. It hurts really bad. I hope he does Change.
