i love rascal flatts, their songs are so freakin' epic...you know what's funny? this afternoon i came home from church feeling like crap, my throat was sore, my back hurt, and my heart ached for a reason i don't yet know, and i started listening to rascal flatts songs and before i knew it, i was feeling better enough to sing along i suppose good music really does heal, thanks rascal flatts! =D

This is one of my very favorite songs by Rascal Flatts. It reminds me so much of the man I wish I could be with right now. I met him back in September and not a day goes by that I don't ache to be closer to him. We live a distance away and it kills me inside that the feelings he has for me aren't real. I want so much to be the one he falls madly in love with and gives me the comfort I've been needing all my life.

This was our song. She was my sweetheart from my senior year. We dated for six years and we planned our whole lives together . I was a coward and a fool and now she is married to another. There is not a single day that goes by that I don't think about her. I like to listen to this song a lot. It takes me back to a place when we were 18. We were so young, carefree and innocent. The only thing that mattered was us. We had our whole lives in front of us. I had never even heard of Rascal Flatts before, but this song came on the stereo in her car one day... It's a little strange now, considering this was our song back then, and now she's gone and what this song is actually about. There couldn't be a more appropriate song for the love I still carry for her as I move forward through the seasons of my life. I will always love you D.
