WEI MENG Industrial Co., Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of raschel knitting machines from Taiwan. In this video, you can see one of their fishing net making machines in action.
The WMF knotless fishing net raschel knitting machine with its specific design produces durable nets for agricultural, fishing, and shade nets applications. It is equipped with a latch needle bar (6 latch needles/inch), eight guide bars, a trick plate and a sinker bar. Moreover, it features a built-in laser sensor, which detects any breaks in the yarn, and automatically cuts off the power of the WMF machine.
But The WMF fishing net making machine has several more unique features that distinguish it from other machines:
A computerized PLC touch panel which controls all the motors within the machine. This saves factory owners the troubles of having to change or replace numerous gears and chains and also a huge amount of time.
An automatic servomotor (3.75kw - 7.5kw) that controls the yarn beams.
This allows for a stable feeding which is difficult to achieve by traditional netting machines.
And it also incorporates a roller fabric take-up density system (supports fabric rolls of up to 40" = 1,016mm dia). The rolling speed, driven by the servomotor, controls the density of the net. Users can adjust the density by either increasing or reducing the speed of the roller. The WMF supports a rolling speed of 350 - 400 RPM.
Due to the wide range of applications and pioneer design, Wei Meng’s raschel knitting machines have been sold to markets all over the world, including South and Central Asia, the Middle-East and the Eastern Europe.
