Im a irish white man from uk. Just want to say that reggea music is played all around the world in all cultures and creeds. Without the promotion and distribution that mainstream music has had over the years these tunes have reached all societies, stuck around and turned into classics. Peoples music true to our feelings and true to our ears. I grew up on reggea music and consider myself well educated in this music. Mabee i vibrate to this because i am born into it or mabee because my people and jamaican people share a parallel story of slavery and suffering. 750,000 out of 1,500,000 irish population were taken as slaves or killed during slavery, many were sent to the Caribbean islands.

Used to go watch them jam in a basement of a health food shop on the soho road in Handsworth when i was a kid. Alan carr (brother of john) was my mate who took me there. Fasntastic times. Wish i could find the old tracks i used to have on casette

Hi, I have been searching for information about this band for ages...I know they were from the Birmingham area, but that's all I know. I have a copy of this record and we play it a lot at home and also at reggae parties in London (my wife played Slow Down at the NYE in Dub party at Walthamstow Trades Hall, and the guys from the General Echo club didn't know this stuff and they loved it) Anyway, I would like to find out more about this band, their history, and whether they haver more recordings that have not been released yet... If you still have contact with them and could help me to get in touch with them I would appreciate that very much. Blessings.
