Wow! Rickey met all 8 of his great grandparents! I knew 3 of my 8 although I know 4 where still alive when I was born. That is wonderful. I love Rickey Smiley and his love for his Family, like Ms. Janie and Chris. Like he says he takes care of his family. Raised by grandparents he knows to have good manners not OCD and learned through life and therapy to set boundaries. Love Rickey.

As a grandmother to a six year old boy, I understand what he is saying fully🤦🏽‍♀️my grandson has sinus and he makes these awful sinus sounds to clear his nasal passage. I hated them sounds. His mom my daughter had sinus, and as she was growing up, I use to say “girl clear your nose outside😂😂😂 I don’t want hear that”. The other day my grandson (her son) was having a sinus attack, she look at me and ask “ you ain’t hear all that🤷🏾‍♀️, cause you just sitting here like you can’t hear”. She said, “cause you would send me in a different room when I had a sinus attack”😂😂😂😂😂😂 I swear I love my grandson so much, it’s like I don’t even hear what once annoyed me coming from him🙋🏾‍♀️🙋🏾‍♀️🙋🏾‍♀️🙋🏾‍♀️ so I get the granddaughter walking on the table. Rickey is always in Bimini and Nassau Bahamas, my home.. Rashan you funny too but the way.

Any habit a person forms is learned. Sometimes things have to be unlearned, in order to break bad habits. Good manners can create opportunities that bad habits can destroy. In the case, of pushing up your chair, at Rickey and Rashan's level, there are cleaning people who will push the chairs up. But, it's the principle of the matter. Good manners are important. If the creek don't rise is very southern. Everyday when leaving work they say see you tomorrow. My response is always if the creek don't rise. I grew up thinking it means if something don't happen. I saw the elderly come back everyday when they said this but, the first time I didn't see someone the next day after saying this it really was hurtful. I was in elementary school. But, this is something I say daily and people ask all the time what does it mean. I love it and correct speak and be respectful like Mr.Smiley says.
