Hello there, Jose and thanks for the comment. I tried to find any comments by Jaakko what he thinks about this rock version of his original song, unfortunately did not find any. I did catch some backround information about this song tho: Jaakko made "Ilouutinen" when he was only 17 years old. Here is link to the original 1974 song: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6u5gZmNba2tqJo. Now Jaakko is 65 years and he has just few months ago released new album called "Blues Taivaan portilla" aka "Blues at the Gates of Heaven". As a humble, gospel-influenced man that Jaakko seems to be, he wanted to make a blues record in his late career. Good for him.
