Btw.....I'm Jamaican born and raised and still lives here. I grow up exactly the way mokko lives, in our little board houses just the same. My stepfather was also a farmer like mokko, and my mother would sell the produce at the market. I hvnt had coco in abt 10 yrs, casava in abt 5 yrs, some of the best things to hv with chicken back or salt mackerel. Bck then going to bush to dig yam and coco, pick breadfruit and oranges, jackfruit and such a like was just the best time ever. Especially since we always stop at the river to hv fun b4 we go home. I don't live like that anymore. My house is big nw, 5 bed 5 bath, with 4 children. I am glad I grew up that way, because I get to experience it all. I must say I was happier living a simpler life, big is not always better. I know for complete certainty, that my life growing in the country was waaayyy better and happier than it is nw.

I can only imagine how good that banana is. Be it the Caribbean or when I'm in central America to get REAL NON GMO food is the life. If you meat even the meat taste better and different than meat in America. My grandfather has a farm in Central America and let me tell you people something. Knowing how to farm and take care of land is vital for survival. The American government even the worldly governments have stripped that from the people taking your land for money. Making you go through them to get what you need when your ancestors use to do it themselves. Taking the resources from the land and also building homes and buildings on top of it for it's corporate beast and have you thinking it's because of "over population." Humans been on this planet for thousands of years. The higher power designed humans and the earth to be one. Just as the earth cleanses and filter so do we with it. Governments got us shook. If we could only get back to farming our own food smh...Sadly i'm here in America where the food is killin' us yo.

Although I have some reservation about rejecting fertilisers as a whole, I think Mokko could conveniently sift his kitchen's leftovers out and treat his soil with compost produced with the organic matter. Soil fertility can decrease in time, even in a non-industrial farm. Anyway thanks for your uploads, they are very well done and interesting on many levels.
