One of Amorim's job requirements is to get Rashford playing well again. He'll have to keep playing him in some form or other, then the other problem is Zirkzee, he's bloody awful. Who signs off on buying these strikers, no pace, he needs the ball played to feet otherwise he's utterly useless. Him & Rashford are embarrassing the club & the fans, Garnacho looks like a special needs child & he plays like that.

Hojlund proved from his first season he can consistently perform in Europe, and can score important, match-winning goals. I don’t disagree with those saying he’s far from the finished article, and even the view that we’d need to move on from him if we were to get to the point of challenging for PL/CL again. What is clear now is, with a team that provides average service to its strikers he will give you 20+ goals a season. Important player

The reason Amorim is using Bruno in the pivot is because you need runners. The pivots have to cover a lot of ground in that formation. It's not ideal to have Bruno there and I would imagine Amorim knows that but if you're committed to rotating, who are your options? It's why you can't play Erikson. It's why you'd rather not play Casemiro against good teams. Bruno, Mainoo, and Ugarte are the only players on the roster that can do it. Mainoo and Ugarte were rotated out today. That leaves Bruno.
