I have placed 3 orders with Argos. This is what I have to say about them. The product is very nice quality. The presentation is beautiful.The customer service is TERRIBLE! I had an issue that required customer support with my last order and got a could care a less, no resolve response. This is supposed to be a high-end luxury niche brand. I was shocked at the dime store 😳 customer care! They have lost my business!

I bought Triumph of Bacchus based on the hype but didn't find it earth-shattering as told by a lot of perfume reviewers. They talk about how they adore it and rock it all the time while holding a full bottle. 🤣 It's refreshing to see you give an honest review of BOV. Thanks Neeb!

TOB is very thick and layered, but the tobacco note is not very pleasant to my nose, almost wish it was a burnt tobacco instead. For me, Adonis Awakens leads Argos, with Danae second, losing some points with lesser performance although superior blend and quality. Look forward to trying Fall of Phaeton, the most intriguing to me of the new bunch.

I think your review is the most relatable one for me when it comes to this perfume. I bought BOV and at first sniff it smells like bubble gum grape and strawberry lollipops on my skin which could be the raspberry. It's clingy and cloying, sweet and sticky and lingers at the back of my throat. Then morphs into some other scent that's quite nostalgic, something I've smelt in passing when I was a child, maybe in the mall, maybe a citrusy cocktail at a bar, then upon dry down it turns into chocolate incense, smokey just before it disappears. For me it's a weird flash of something familiar and when you try to hold on, it vanishes.

It is still not on Fragrantica. I would prefer to get a sample rather than blind buy, but I don’t see samples available anywhere, even on their website. I did hear one influencer say that they had tried a sample. Do you have any insider updates regarding this fragrance? Your review was outstanding, btw.

I got the discovery set, and the opening is feminine, but later in the dry down, it's more unisex.
