Apologies for the verbal typo! time.sleep(0.5) is half a second not half a minute.

That was really cool. Pity it wasn't longer, or perhaps a part of a series. I was enjoying the coding explanation on the sense hat.

Simple tip. Put a piece of white tissue paper over the Sense Hat to defuse the LEDs. Much easier to see the blended image.

hi there I am very new to the raspberry pi scene and I thought this looked like a really cool thing to do but I'm not sure if it will work on my pi zero and whether you recommend any other projects :)

I would like to add that to an Arduino robot /rover. Can you add/stack that sense hat over one of those servo hats?

Really impressed with how well this was explained! I am a secondary school teacher and i am looking to convert to raspberry pi's for my computing class. I saw in the video a snippet of some children colouring in a grid for the Pi Sense, are these resources available online? i am trying to develop a scheme of work purely around python programming and raspberry pi's. Thanks :)

I almost always let my Pi on while doing something on the GPIO pins and nothing bad happened to my Pi until now... Still working fine...

Great tutorial! :) btw at 9:20, I guess you meant 0,0,g or something like that? because it should have an acceleration due to gravity, even when it's idle, right.

HELP! When I enter: sense = SenseHat() I get an error! It says "Cannot detect RPi-Sense FB Device" Also it says "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/sense_hat/sense_hat.py line 36" also "cannot detect device" I ran: i2cdetect -y 1 returns: UU at 1b, then 1c, 46, 5c, 5f, 6a

+Ted Mieske - Found the fix here: gist.github.com/Gadgetoid/57084ec5817142a118ac There's a timing issue in jessie-2015-09-24 Issuing an i2cdetect -y 1 now returns: 1c, UU at 46, 5c, 5f, 6a (notice the difference from above msg?)

NICE PET ! Looks like a kitty. :-) I want to use my sense hat to keep track of the weather outside. Now I know how to make a happy green smiley face in good weather :-), a blue neutral face it it might rain :-| , and a frowny face if too cold or too hot ! :-( Thanks !
