The Root Boy Cooks !

I was tagged by Meathead to do some sweet ribs! I think I did pretty well. Sweet BBQ sauce/ Glaze made with Raspberry fruit spread. Here is a recipe!
To make this you will need:
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup honey
4 tablespoons of brown sugar
a jar of raspberry fruit spread, or raspberry preserves
Mix it all together heating slightly, cool and spread on ribs, chicken ETC. Enjoy!

Lasse's, I was thinking the exact thing. Just had Blackberry Fruit Spread from Aldi for my toast this morning, and said to my wife it would make a great key ingredient in a great sauce/glaze.

Beautiful stuff Sal, and the tsang's as a starter is always good. No Parkay thank you, "regular unsalted butter" for me please :) Brown sugar tastes so good because it is the concentrated and dehydrated farts from angels! Sort of like Pixie Dust, but better! I love raspberies Sal, so this is perfect. Good to go. Your ribs looked text-book perfect at the end, I know they tasted mighty fine!

Interesting recipe, but a definite NO for me with that glaze. The ribs were done perfectly. That cooker does a nice job for sure, but at $500, the same price as a 22" WSM, I would buy the WSM. Yes, prices up here are nuts. $35 for the cheapest case of beer. It is nuts. Humans all look funny. RTFO!!! GB

I only paid around 250 for the PBC. And I believe a WSM is about the same price! I don't drink as much beer as you so I can buy the good stuff! RTFO! \m/
