I made this recipe yesterday and I was wondering now how long do I let it set out of the fridge before I start rolling it out? thanks so much :)

It really depends on the temperature of your kitchen. You never want the dough too soft or the butter will ooze out of the dough and you won't get a flaky Danish. Allow the dough about 10 to 15 minutes if you are in a warm kitchen and the act of rolling it out will also warm it up. Again, you don't want the dough too warm. Good luck!!!

Only change I'd make is to egg wash them a little bit too before baking. Otherwise awesome thanks!

Thanks for reaching out! I have a video for a Cherry Cheese Danish NOT using a traditional Danish dough. You could easily use my Danish Dough in Hurry recipe and use the filling and shaping method I use for the Cherry Cheese Danish. You will get a wonderful Cheese Danish that way. Easy and fast!! Good luck! Let me know how it comes out!

Puff pastry dough or danish dough is same
@GailSokol5 жыл бұрын
Puff pastry and Danish dough are not the same. Puff pastry has no yeast in it and is leavened with steam. Danish dough is leavened with yeast and tends to be a richer dough as well.
