Rat Race Man vs Coast 2019

Man Vs Coast runs the most famous coastline in the British Isles. This breathtaking 23 mile route takes in high cliffs, brooding moorland, picture-perfect beaches, crashing waves, big swells, rough-hewn rocks, water jumps, short swims, and a few cheeky surprises. This is one for the adventurer who wants to make a weekend of it.

Looking forward to this and dreading it. Hope to see you there as its my first time and I have a massive fear of the sea and heights....but I'm a cornishman so I hope I'll get through.....I'm starting at 9.30

How did it go Sam? This year I decided to go out on a mission so didn't take any video or pictures. I did however take 1.5 hours off my 2019 time

@@dad.man.running I unfortunately am petrified on heights and just after pit stop 3 going up the hill were the photographer was I retired....I couldn't do the path at the top....4 and half miles left. I was 2nd last at this point and I didn't want to freeze again. I saw you at the start but didn't want disturb u lol. Well done :) on beating your time

@@samrabey89 you did brilliantly to get that far, some of those Coast trails are mountain goat terrain. I'd say that getting that far is a win by any any standard!! Next time come and say hello, always great to meet new people.

@@dad.man.running I was going to but u were talking to a young lady so I thought ill see him out there...then you disappeared lol. Yeah I froze on a really thin bit before the scramble. The ratrace guy took me over the top so I skipped that... if I new there was more people behind I could have gone. But I was second last at this point...everyone was loverly and I was struggling didn't feel right at pit stop 2 so to get to pit stop 3 was a miracle lol was seen to by medics there and they said i was exhausted. Only ever done 10miles in one sitting before lol. I'm surprised I got there just gutted I was so close. Worst part is I live nearby in truro lol
