A mí me encantan las canciones más pesadas, más heavy pero una buena balada rockera es fundamental y esta es una de ellas. En el año 2012 vino kiss a la Argentina y los fui a ver, rata blanca tocó antes que ellos y en vivo suenan igual o mejor que en la versión estudio. Es impresionante esa voz. Me llevé una grata sorpresa cuando salieron al escenario porque no sabía que iban a tocar, me canté todo. Gracias y por más rata blanca!

The amazing thing about this band in our country (Argentina) is that they bring metal, heavy metal, to all the people. There are other great metal bands in Argentina, but Rata Blanca is known to everyone, this song is known and even liked to listeners of reggaeton, folklore and tropical music. They transcend the barriers of musical genres.

Hello there! Rata Blanca is still active yes, its singer Adrían Barilary also has his solo records/career. They stopped playing together for a couple of years 1997/2000, but you can pretty much say they have been active since 1985 to the date because it was a really short period of time. They were on a world tour on 2020 but for obvious reasons it got cancelled! But yeah, they are still together and even playing live! this is their discography: 1988: Rata Blanca 1990: Magos, Espadas y Rosas 1991: Guerrero del Arco Iris 1993: El Libro Oculto (EP) 1994: Entre el Cielo y el Infierno 1997: Rata Blanca VII 2002: El Camino del Fuego 2005: La Llave de la Puerta Secreta 2008: El Reino Olvidado 2009: The Forgotten Kingdom (this is an English version of 2008's "El Reino Olvidado", but here they hire an Irish singer called "Doogie White" who adapted and sang the lyrics for the English version) 2015: Tormenta Eléctrica

They are still going strong, there were 4 singers on this band. Rata Blanca has many musical gems. In 1992 they played with an orchestra live, which was unseen at the time, at least in Argentina.

Yeah, these guys really are great live, I watched them when they came to Guatemala for the first time and I was blown away when each one of them performed a solo, it was jaw dropping, all of them are masters, each on his own instrument so I still have that great memory. BTW I'd like to introduce you a very underrated band, at least in America (continent) and the reason is because they weren't played much on the radio and just one video and that was it and they are SANGRE AZUL, they are to me one of the greatest spanish bands and their image is all American (USA) glam metal, with big hair, clothing and riffs and amazing solos and vocals also, please react to "Mil y Una Noches", other suggestions "Cuerpo a Cuerpo" and "Obsesion" I'm telling you guy you'll be amazed how their sound is all glam. The lead guitar is called Walter Giardino, he's the one that writes most of the lirics and songs, he and Adrian Barilari are the leaders of the band, in almost every (if not all) of the Rata Blanca's songs there is a guitar solo, Giardino is one of the best guitar players in argentina, he always was and always will be.

Your spanish is incredible! This band is one of the biggest in Latin America, and this song along with "La Leyenda del Hada y el Mago" are their 2 legendary biggest hits.
