I prefer the idea of all the Megacorp weapons being ID locked. The guns refuse to work because you're employed by a rival company, despite those weapons being completely obsolete. I think thst level of petiness sounds more fitting for the Ratchet and Clank universe.

for the snivelak boss, maybe you could do the clip to get under the boss' feet and wallop it to death. the only reason speedrunners do the sheepinator (iirc) over other guns is because its way faster.

I’ve used the Gadgetron weapons a lot in my R&C2 playthroughs. I got a thorough understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. Decoy Glove is GOATed; it practically perma-stuns most enemies if they can’t reach/hit it but it’s nearby. Makes it easy to use other weapons to finish them off. Walloped is situational but can save a lot of ammo with its insane knockback on certain enemies. Bomb Glove is OK, but it’s Mega version is no joke one of the best weapons in the game. It’s THAT powerful!

You technically could use the R.Y.N.O 2 since it's a Gadegtron Weapon, although since Ratchet literally breaks the fourth wall from the title screen alone where he's seen Playing Ratchet and Clank, Ratchet and Clank 2 (the game that technically hasn't even happened yet even though he it's already a video game) Jak and Daxter, Jak 2, Sly Cooper and the Thievious Racconous he didn't really need to use the R.Y.N.O 2.

At 7:20 the flamethrower bots (V3) you are using between 9 ammo per hit and so about 90 ammo just to kill one of them. You can just quickly press once to shoot then wait a second and then shoot once again. You can save up to 80 ammo. The ennemies have a cooldown for each hit. Using the tesla claw continuously is very inneficient.

7:08 Nope. He was not. The Ratchet and Clank lore can be a little inconsistent but basically he was born in Drek's robot factory on Quartu. We also know that Orvus created Clank and gave him a soul, which might explain why Clank can speak and think intelligently, unlike the other robots. In theory, Orvus created Clank through Drek's facility without anyone knowing, which would also pose the question of whether Orvus specifically placed that infobot there for him to save the galaxy., knowing he programmed him to be the savior of the universe and inherently good. Even when you think about it, Clank's conscience is more than a defect. The other robots at the factory had no conscience, so it's a theory that makes sense. Orvus is also from Polaris, which has Grummelnet instead of Gadgetron. So, it's got nothing to do with Gadgetron

my question here is why you didn't go get the RYNO II, it's clearly stated in the lore that it was a Gadgetron Weapon, i can understand that on a non NG+ run of Going commando getting the 1,000,000 bolts is a bit tricky but even as a kid i was able to get the 1,000,000 bolts by the time i reached Boldan both gathering all 100 desert crystals and 87 Moon crystals then competing in the Hoverbike races

IIRC the (at least European) manual for Ratchet 1 lists it as a gadgetron product, no comment about the later models, and the ones used from TOD onwards (definitely all the Tether ones but I think remembering reading the stock one from TOD was a homemade version too) were custom built by ratchet.

@@buninja5604 the free weapons challenge is basically a harder version of this. You get the combustor and bomb from the start. In staris city you get the shock raver and on Sargasso, you get the alpha cannon. To make it even harder, skip the ryno at the end.
