I love the first voice actor for ratchet, perfect suits his jerkiness in the beginning of the game. That angst, tough-acting teen persona really works with his voice acting.

@@njzito Nah, while Taylor has done an admirable job as Ratchet over the years, Kelly gave him an edge where we got to see him develop significantly throughout the first game, while making it feel genuine. His voice was so good that the developers used his soundbites during gameplay until A Crack In Time.😁

I remember I played this game ALL.THE.TIME! I once played all the way to the blarg homeworld without a memory card when I was 10. Hell I didnt understand a thing in this game other then to simply kill, get bolts, blow stuff up and beat the game. Now seeing 10 years later it I'm surprised i made it that far as a kid.

When I was little playing the game on the PS2, I had completed the game about 5 times. Sadly no matter how many times I bought every gold version of the guns their were, even when I did my absolute best at saving every bolt, I just couldn't buy that big fucn gun from that shady guy In the alley.

This is and was a great game because of how it played more than anything, then the graphics, and PG whit in the dialogue. You don't always need to see zombie brains splatter everywhere in every 1st shooter video game. Seriously, it's true. (Though Max Payne, especially the 3rd one will always be special in my heart. That was a seriously good video game too), It's important to create characters in a game you care about.
