Ratchet and Clank PS4 Veldin out of map and mysterious platforms! (GLITCH)

What's crazy about this is that the developers made areas you could walk on and that are 3D when it would've been easier and cheeper to just make 2D cutouts of things off in the distance,like those towers. Also, the gray platforms (and I'm just guessing here) might've had the purpose of being used as testing areas for weapons and animations OR basic shapes so they could copy and paste the basic ones to create parts of the level. This is such an odd yet cool discovery, so thank you for the video. Found it very intriguing!

I remember discovering this glitch and being shocked at how much out of bounds area there was, on top of it also having colliders to walk on.

Those platforms looks like the testing blocks they used for testing jump heights, angled slope limits and jump and glide distances in the first game. You see it in the Insomiac Museum in the second game kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWOrgq1_lLSNr9U

I just found this out myself . At first I thought they were load zones or warp zones, then I stood on one . The shapes indicate some testing

Yea they definitely tested some stuff there and forgot to remove it. Or it was supposed to be discovered...

Seems like this has been patched, i can't use clank with helipack to get high enough and reverting back to the first version makes no difference. I'm on ps5

Set the game speed to 2x (or whatever is the fastest) in the cheats. I played it on ps4. No idea if there's a difference on ps5 Also doubt there's been a patch tbh. Good luck
